Truly a special spot. It’s nestled alongside a beautiful creek that adds to the ambiance of the place. The beer selection is top notch. The staff is super friendly. The food is truly amazing. It’s farm to table and the quality shows. We order the chimichurri and it’s a must here. The meatball sandwich was delicious and the lemon chicken and rice was some of the tenderest chicken I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

The food is outstanding, and the services is wonderful. The atmosphere of the entire restaurant feels good. The farm to table standard allows for various meals. All kinds of great food. The pear salsa, which is only seasonal, is a must. Hats off to the owner, I’ll be back for more food.

Love the cargo container setup and the food was decent. Service was friendly, but a little slow due to high customer volume and not enough staff. My friend said the house bourbon was good. It was cold the day we were here and since it is an open air restaurant, it became a little uncomfortable after a while.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The quality of food, beer selection, whiskey selection, cocktail selection, staff, and atmosphere are all wonderful. The staff pick bourbon flight and the rye flight are both excellent, or you can create your own whiskey flight. They’re always coming up with new and interesting food menu items. Taco Tuesday is great. Always great vegan options; the vegan options were better than the non vegan tacos in my opinion. I can’t believe more people aren’t coming here. Take a break from Miguel’s and Redpoint and have a bite and a drink at Hop’s. You won’t regret it. Climbers, don’t forget to look up in the pavilion. They’re working on a pretty cool use of retired ropes.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! VEGAN TACOS ON TACO TUESDAY!! I had three black bean and sweet potato (designated vegan!) tacos with chips ‘n salsa and a sweet tea (they use paper straws!) to fuel up in between my adventures, and it was a nice meal. Being vegan in a remote area of the South like Red River Gorge obviously isn’t super convenient, so this place was my by-chance oasis (they also had vegetarian and gluten-free options)! The host and other staff were so friendly, the bathroom was very clean, and the patio was amazing (spacious, well furnished, overlooking a creek, great atmosphere)! Killer selection of craft beer and liquor as well (I don’t drink anymore, but this seems to be the spot if you do!). If I’m not mistaken, they have fluctuating hours and a rotating menu (only tacos on Tuesday, breakfast only on Sundays, etc.), so you may want to call ahead before you lose cell service in the gorge!

This place is amazing. We stopped in at about 2pm on a Saturday after a “morning” of hiking. This is a great break spot. The covered porch had a good cross breeze going through, all the staff were very friendly, and the food and beer was delicious. I love and really appreciate how everything was labeled on the menu for vegetarian, vegan, and dairy-free (dairy allergy here).

The staff was wonderful, the only complaint that I had was the food. It was beyond disappointing. The potato, green bean mash was flavorless, it definitely needed some spices. The pulled pork had no flavor and tasted dry, the sauce given with the pork dish was very watery and tasteless. To be honest I’d stay away from the pulled pork, the dish needs some lovin’. Maybe a homemade BBQ sauce if they have trouble keeping the meat from drying out. My son’s grilled cheese was good, simple but good. The sausage burger was better, it actually had flavor.

Even on their “small menu wednesdays” there was a pretty solid selection of food and brews. I had the sausage burger with an egg added and it was everything you could possibly want in a breakfast sandwich (for lunch). All the seating was outdoors and right next to a running creek. This made for a very relaxed and nice atmosphere.
