Went to Pana with my cousin about 8pm, not realizing they were closing. A employee named Dan said he could still make us something to eat. We placed our order and Dan answered all my questions as it was my first time. We went to another part of the building while we sipped on some drinks and enjoyed the vibe. To our surprise, we looked up and saw Dan and his coworker delivering our order to us! It was so refreshing to see an establishment go over and beyond expectations! The food was so fantastic, we return again yesterday to eat it again. I have absolutely fallen in love with this restaurant and it’s quality, crafted cuisine. This will be a must when I’m in the area.

Wow! Great from top to bottom. The people were super friendly and helpful to us newcomers to arepas. They gave great recommendations and the food was fantastic! Beef arepa w/ black beans and mozzarella was so good and GET THE SAUCES! The garlic sauce is dream-inducing and the spicy avocado sauce and hot red Chile sauce are also great. Portions are large, too, so it’s a really good value.

I’ve had arepas before, and these are the best I’ve ever eaten. Flavors like this are hard to come by, and Pana nails them in everything on their menu.

Amazing! All the arepas are fantastic and the garlic sauce is the best we’ve had anywhere. Generous portions, including the sides of plantains and beans. Great choice for anyone eating gluten-free.

The best food truck in Santa Cruz now has a brick and mortar location! The arepas here are amazing, and their garlic sauce is seriously one of the best food items in the entire city. Their food is ideally suited to the Abbott Square atmosphere since the arepas are all hand held and self contained (though they can be messy). So grab an arepas and some napkins and go sit outside and enjoy the Santa Cruz experience!

Wow! This place is amazing! I got the caprese arepa with mozarella, tomatoes and basil. I’m so glad they didn’t skimp on the tomatoes! Packed with tomatoes!! And the arepa itself is thin! Not just a thick piece of maize dough without much filling, which is my experience in the past. So good!

I can’t go to Santa Cruz and not think about stopping at Pana. They have delicious arepas, friendly staff, and excellent service. My go-to is the Pabellon with all the sauces.
