We were visiting Chicago and this restaurant kept popping up in local suggestions. The customer service and decors of the restaurant was excellent. We were greeting by beautiful smiles and people who were ready to assist us. The beef brisket sandwich had huge hunks of fat on it. There was barely any sauce in the sandwich and it was salty. The chicken wings (whisky bbq) wings were not savory at all. The texture almost taste like they put too much batter on the wings and then sauced them, which made it slightly mushy. Awesome place to hangout. We came here for a happy hour and wing challenge among our colleagues. The ambience is great and the best tasting wings I’ve ever had. The xxxx wings are absolutely fire , a bit of warning. Several of us have literally cried. And the effect lasted several hours after. If you try the spiciest , they do offer ice cream and milk at the end. Thank god !!

I. Love. This. Place. My first experience of full on American lean into it eating, and it didn’t disappoint. The wings are delicious (I got classic buffalo, of course, but the truffle wings I also tried and they’re amazing). The pretzel is HUGE and comes with the most amazing mustard, couldn’t stop eating it. I also got a thing of shredded pork. And the secret favourite item on the menu? Fried pickles – mind-blowingly good. Realistically, we over ordered here – two dishes per person is ridiculous. Get one and chill out. I very nearly deducted a star because the service was impossibly slow, but if I return to Chicago (likely) I’ll want to return so it’s not fair to take it off – the staff are super friendly.

A cool vibe with good food. Staff are laid back and just on top of things. I like the food here, they’re known for their wings, which inagree are great. For those of us who aren’t fully into the after-hours dive bar scene, Jake Melnick’s is perfect. Plus the food is great. It’s definitely a place where you could be known, watch games, and enjoy good food and people.

Lived up to the hype! The Buffalo wings were great and the cheese curds were some of the best I’ve had. Even the fries were top tier. Didn’t love the Nashville hot flavor as much though but I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors.

If you’re downtown shopping and need a quick bite this is your place. Service is slow, they take forever to get anything. Drinks are bland and not mixed well. Food is okay. Ordered and old fashioned 3/10 and was undrinkable. My impossible burger was very over cooked. Come at your own risk.

Been wanting to try this spot since I worked at Bloomingdale’s 5years ago. I should’ve just let it pass as a loss. Went on a Friday afternoon when everything should’ve been fresh && ready for the weekend crowd. That was not the case. We were seated awkwardly by the kitchen and behind another drunken party with a guy who kept bumping me at every range of motion.
