I dislike the term “hidden gem,” because no business wants to be hidden, but it describes Athens Souvlaki really well. Their food is consistently incredible. Homemade pita is legendary. Spinach pie is wonderful. I’ve visited countless times and have always been happy with my order. Everyone who works here is very friendly too. This isn’t a Coney Island, so you may wait a few extra minutes for your food, but it’s totally worth it.

Medium good quality food but service makes the difference here. We came in with a local and the lady that runs the place knew her by name. Our waitress was attentive without hovering. I wish the food was better (chewy lamb and soggy fries).

Love this place! Just make sure you get there plenty early on a Saturday. Wanted to 3 salads to go, it was 14:30 when I called to order and they were shutting down. It’s totally my fault, but I just want people to know the hours are not what they say so you don’t miss out. Love the food tho!!

The waitress was very distracted by her boyfriend. I had to ask for everything including napkin fork and knife. The two cooks we’re helpful and very courteous. I’ve had other great experiences there. This was disappointing.

Best GYRO anywhere! MAKE SURE you ask for it off the spinning roaster as it is fresh and juicy! The owner and Wait Staff are super nice. I have been coming here since I was a kid…always great! My friend enjoyed the VEGETARIAN GYRO too!
