For a hole in the wall, this place stands out. I’m really surprised when I got there. The food is delicious, they really make a tortillas from scratch and it’s so soft and tasty. I had to go there because of the reviews and I gotta say, I’m going to go there again, the tacos are fabulous. And being so close to where my parents are, I’m definitely going to try everything. I’ll let you decide but I think you’ll like it.

Great food with a cute little location. They had lots of options so something for everyone and the prices were reasonable. There were many a la carte options so someone could get a taco, tamale, and rice/beans for $12. They have a sweet trippy sauce that’s similar in flavor to yum yum sauce. At first I didn’t think that it would go well with everything but it was actually great! I asked for a side of it with my quesadilla and they didn’t charge (which is nice because some places are $$$ for a little bit of sauce).

I have ordered beef birria tacos here several times without queso, but this time, I received a call stating my order couldn’t be made as I ordered online because the tacos “had to have queso.” I have a dietary restriction – do not question me on the culinary value or legitimacy of my order. Just make my food please. Will think twice about coming back. The staff was polite about it, but I don’t appreciate having to justify what I’ve ordered.

We ordered the lengua tacos and the al pastor tacos. The lengua was awesome! Lots of lengua meat and goes well with the red spicy sauce. The al pastor was ok. Lots of meat, too, but did not taste like what al pastor tastes like. Missing that pineapple juice taste. We also ordered the quesadillas and they were excellent! Fyi, there is counter style seating inside and two tables outside. Best to just order your food to go. We will be back to try the other tacos and get more of the lengua tacos.
