The food was delicious. They were short staffed so it was a little slow but completely understandable. The staff that was there were working their butts off and had a great attitude even with being busy! I ordered mine to go and it was ready in under 10 minutes. I ordered the shrimp Po boy and fried okra. Loved loved loved the poboy but the okra was a little bland but still good.

We had the Monday Special: Red Beans and Rice with Smoked Sausage. It was really pretty decent. It also came with a good piece of corn bread and complimentary Bread Pudding. I didn’t really care for the Bread Pudding, but everything else was worth getting again. It’s also very reasonably priced. All of the above for $9.99. It’s far away from me, so we will not likely be returning, but I would recommend giving them a try if you’re in the area.

This morning I was greeted when I first arrived, and sat at the counter for breakfast. From there, I couldn’t get waited on. They had several waitresses there, but no one acknowledged me. Then there was a dude in his late 50’s or so that came out there and said, “I was told I was needed out here, but I’m not sure for what!” I was sitting right in front of him. So weird. Anyway, I ended up just leaving because I was really hungry and wasn’t getting anywhere sitting there.

Was utterly disappointed after having great food and amazing service from our waitress, watching the owner, (Luke) belittle and speak disgustingly to his servers. Not only did he get in their face, mock their laugh, but stick his finger in one servers face as well.

Food used to be better, it’s not bad now, just used to be better. I would not normally say anything. However, it is an unfortunate trend. I used to live in Prairieville but moved last October. Service was great even with a shortage of wait staff, so possibly inexperienced kitchen staff.

We were very disappointed when we visited 4 years ago with friends. We gave them a new chance recently and were happy to see that they have changed the things around. The food tasted great, the wait staff was friendly and did what they can although they are short on help. The place was full of happy customers and even had a wait line. I hope they can hire more wait staff and cut down on the wait. Happily changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars! We will be back.
