Not one of my favourite experiences. We had their gyoza as well as their fire dragon rolls. I thought the gyoza was one of my least favourites that I’ve ever had. The sauce served was a little strange for gyoza sauce and their actually gyozas were pretty empty with little filling.

We were excited to find a sushi restaurant close to our hotel. If I could give Friends Sushi on Rush 0 stars I would. The best way to describe the meal and the experience is it was insulting. The agedashi tofu was not hot. Maybe it was precooked?

Great quality, super fast and friendly service in a cute all white interior. They have outside tables too. I had the black shrimp tempura roll and avocado roll, both with soy paper. The temperature of the rolls was perfect, something that seems overlooked by a lot of places. The tempura shrimp in the roll were super plump and cooked perfectly. I’ll definitely go back. It’s just a tad on the pricey side.

The front desk at the Hilton Garden Inn recommended Friends Sushi. The dragon roll did not disappoint! I am in my 50”s and was in town for work and enjoyed the vibe but there were many different age groups enjoying their meals. Quaint, warm, welcoming, good music, food and attentive service.

The Friend s Sushi located at 710 Rush street Chicago is a beautiful small eating joint which serves very yummy sushi. The rates are also not high. It has a bar inside. On side’s sitting arrangements are very nice. Services are always good and staff is very courteous. Very neat and clean environment. A bit congested sitting in the inside of restaurant but overall very nice.

We loved everything, nothing missed the mark. The Nigiri was sublime, the torched fatty Salmon was my favorite. The Friends and Tiger Eyes Maki rolls were also great. My wife’s Unagi donburi had fatty and delicious eel cuts. Our ceviche tasted fresh and writhed great with the crackers. They had run out of desserts so they must be good! Service was super friendly and fast. Would definitely come back again.
