Came on a Friday to celebrate my guys birthday. Only one waitress and she was awesome. She worked it out! She had a nice crowd, but everyone cane at once. She made sure to communicate it would take a bit. Honestly we had great convo so didn’t feel that long. For being mainly mariscos the asada was great! We were pleased. I live down block and wish I would’ve been here sooner. Margaritas were good too. They should add a hostess for all the small things customers may need. Thanks Vina Del Mar for great food

BEST margarita in town. I highly recommend the frozen strawberry margarita. Food is delicious, especially guacamole and steak tacos. Friendly and fast customer service as well. I’ve now been coming here quite a bit and they put the cherry on top of this margarita (literally)! Best Mexican restaurant near Midway, hands down!

A diverse menu, large seafood menu section. OkStreet parking. Take out, phone orders. Trying to recover local business due to pandemic closures, no noticeable changes in menu offerings. Still consistent quality. Simple, tasty selection for a neighborhood restaurant.

Atmosphere was very pleasant. Waitress got our orders correct and even offered to top off my coffee on 3 different occasions. Excellent service. Delicious food. Big portions. Our party of 5 (2 little ones) were not an easy group and they handled us very well.

They offer some good food for a fair price, nice ambiance and good service. They also serve alcohol. They start you off with chips and salsa and offer a small appetizer. I had the seafood tostada. For my main course I had a shrimp caldo/soup and it came with avocado, lime, onions, and cilantro. Also they give you to choose if you want bread or tortillas to go with it.

I ordered a burrito and it was very very poor. Steak had no flavor to it. Tasted like a late night burrito where the steak is left on the grill top all night. Friend got a shrimp dinner said the shrimp was ok but rice and beans so so. They also served potato salad that when he tasted immediately spit it out. Service was so so we were the only ones in there and our waitress decided to eat instead of refilling our drinks or asking if we needed anything. I would not recommend this place.

It was ok. It could be better. Cheese on my steak tacos cost me too much! My husband had the shrimp cocktail. It was served in a bowl and looked like soup, but tasted like a shrimp cocktail. It was weird The Agua de Jamaica tasted weird also. It wasn’t fresh and when it sits for too long, it tastes like that. Maybe more traffic might make food taste fresher
