The food was excellent. I got the double burger and fries with cheese sauce on the sauce. It’s the good cheese sauce too and they give you an awesome portion. The milkshake was so thick and great. The service was super fast and the employees were nice. The tables were clean too. I’m from out of town but I am definitely craving cook out right now even though there isn’t one within 2 hours of my location. When I travel again, I’ll definitely be on the lookout for a cook out to stop at. Super affordable too!

Heard a lot of talk from other Virginia’s about this place and wanted to try it out. Wanted a burger but no option to change cheese, I’m good on American cheese. So I just ordered the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings, hushpuppies, and an oreo pb shake. Sandwich needed more BBQ sauce, the meat was light brown (picture) with a squirt of sauce on bread, fried stuff was good, and the milkshake was amazing, which gave the 3rd star

I have not been to cookout in years. Went today and got a large order to take home. The young man at the counter was awesome. Polite, brought me a cup of ice water when he saw me coughing, and offered to take my order to the car. I walk with a cane, have dizzy spells, and have trouble with breathing. What a great experience to meet someone who cares and works fast food. Thank you so much. Bless you.

Best place for a wide variety of cheap yet tasty food. Service is quick, and you get an overall great value for your money. Mcdonald’s, Wendy’s, and all these other fast food places have gotten more and more expensive, and their food just tastes like preservatives, but not here.

Staff is always rude. They never get the milkshakes right and when you tell them it wasn’t what you ordered they act like you’re a problem. But that’s what you get for going to cookout. Other then that everything is fast and hot when you get it.

I don’t know if/when this location got new management, but the last few times it’s been not so good. From the worker yelling on the intercom and not listening to get the correct order while trying to rush you and the flip of a coin is the food is correct. Literally just left there. Asked for a cheeseburger with lettuce cheese bacon onion pickle and mayo/mustard. What I got (as you can see) is cheeseburger tomato, the thickest cut of onion, pickle and may/mustard. No bacon. No lettuce. Guess it was a shortage smh. Do better guys.

been going here since they opened but never been inside until this weekend. it was gross.every table, including the benches were sticky & covered in crumbs.2 spots on the floor of spilled drinks.the kitchen area floor was littered with trash & food.the sweet tea was just a regular pitcher beside the drink machine.the employees in the back were loud & obnoxiously yelling & gossiping to eachother the entire time we were there.
