Technically, this place is a gas station. The fact that they have a pretty legit burger is a bonus. And yet another food place that has its own cat (an inside cat at Tommy’s and an outside cat at Starfish). At least this place built him a house! They are missing their roof over the gas pumps from I assume the hurricane. And there is lots of outside seating under the station. Decent place!

Sunday at noon. Food ok, wait wasn’t long. Ordering was somewhere between a verbal tragedy or a snl sketch comedy. Not every menu item was available because they weren’t running the fryers or due to only cooking off of the Sunday menu, which wasn’t printed. I was very polite. But the fryers weren’t shut down for the day, just certain menu items. Staff wasn’t rude, just really spaced out.

Good good for a good price. We got three of their specialty burgers, and they were very satisfying. We also got some boudin balls, which were just right! The place is in a gas station/convenience store. If you’re from upper Jefferson Parish, it will remind you of a “Brothers” but with a different menu. Not exquisite food, but definitely worth the price. We have found that the restaurants in Grand Isle are overpriced, so a good solid burger was perfectly fine for us. I didn’t want to try a poboy because it seems that Grand Isle does not have access to the right kind of bread for poboys. At least that’s been our experience at other places in the area. Overall, we liked this place, and recommend it for a good lunch.

We went to see how Grand isle recovered from the hurricane.. went for coffee after we ate lunch. None was freshly made because they said it was too hot to drink coffee. well it isn’t too hot for coffee drinkers who stopped to patronize your store. But Other than that everything was neat and clean, nice restrooms

Ok.. I’m new to Louisiana. I’ve been here 3 months. I have fallen in love with boudin. I have been eating it everywhere from Lafayette to Grand Isle. Taste is subjective…But…. The boudin balls here are this far, the best I have ever eaten.

Good price for great food! I stopped in for a to go order at lunch and although the place was busy it didn’t take long for my order to be ready. Men’s room was clean too. When I pass this way again I’ll stop and try another burger!

Jo-Bob’s has THE BEST fried chicken and sides in grand isle. Period. You can call ahead and place your order or walk right in and pick and choose from so many amazing foods. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have saved me. Thank you Jo-Bob’s.

Great establishment. Nice selection of food with many deals that are of good value. Never quoted a long wait time either even during their peak hours or when the island is booming with events. Pizza and the chicken are the best on Grand Isle by far. Cute cat outside that always welcomes you before going in.
