So always like to go positive first. Atmosphere was super laid-back. Very rustic and dog friendly. Although rustic it was still clean. Small micro Brew attached in the same building is a definite plus. Some really nice beers to try. Flavor profile was good, pulled pork was seasoned well and the mac and cheese was actually quite enjoyable.

My husband and I ate here for the first time tonight. Best brisket we have had! So tender, it just falls apart and seasoned nicely. We’ve been looking for a good bbq place in Asheville since we moved here 2 years ago. We’ve definitely found our place. Great food and cool atmosphere. We will be back!

Absolutely the best BBQ I’ve ever had!! Just delicious! BBQ beans were incredible, too. Burnt brisket and pulled pork were perfect! Having a Brewery right there is the best combo you could ask for. Love this place!!

This was an absolutely delicious barbecue spot. I had been to the south slope location before but wanted to try this one and I was not disappointed. Service was quick, you order from the counter and they prepare your place and you can sit wherever you want. I got the brisket with Mac and cheese and baked beans as the side. The beans in particular were some of the best I’ve ever had. I chose the Texas pepper sauce and Carolina Gold. The Pepper sauce had just the right amount of spice and the Gold had a great mustardy taste. We will be going back to both locations without a doubt!

Quick lunch stop close enough to I 40. Fabulous food! Get the bear attack, a pile of meat on top of Mac n cheese and cornbread. We also got the enormous cookie. Excellent brisket.

If you’re looking for some of the best burnt ends you’ve ever had look no further! Good Mac n cheese, decent Cole slaw. The bbq beans are really good. I will definitely be back. Cheers

Long line but food was great and the service was wonderful. The Brisket was very tender. Pet Friendly. Even have a pet house outside you can place your pet in while you dine and a beautiful fire pit area.

Passing through and read the reviews, we had to give it a try. Glad we did! The only negative thing I can say it that it was a little hard to find, but so glad we found it!

This was the first place I went to get BBQ in Asheville and I was not disappointed one bit. It’s also in the same building as Sweeten Creek Brewery so the atmosphere is great. This particular night there was live music and he was really good!

A very relaxing place to soak up crisp Ashville air while enjoying delicious BBQ. It is also a great place to enjoy a cocktail or two. If you’re in town, give this place a try.
