I love eating in and taking out at Sushi Tendou! I live close by, and it’s always a highlight of my week when I get to have their sushi. It’s so fresh and always has great presentation. My favorites are the salmon and eel hand rolls. They even throw in extra sushi rolls when I get take out!

It wasn’t a bad place to eat. The atmosphere was nice and the wait staff were friendly. I had the spicy shrimp miso soup. It had a nice flavor, but could have been served warmer. The salad was tasty. The sushi was reasonably good but the fish didn’t have a lot of flavor to it.

I’ve been to Sushi Tendou at least once a month for the past half-year or so, and the food is always impeccable! The chefs and servers are wonderful, and the service is above and beyond. Highly recommend this place for anybody that wants a great sushi experience!

Pretty terrible food. Service and ambience was fine but the food was absolutely bland (ordered the chicken udon and tempura udon) and the California role tasted fishy. Overpriced and when we told them the food wasn’t good the server was like “okay I will let them know” – no apologies or offer to make it better. Will not return and would not recommend to anyone looking for even average or mediocre Japanese food.

By far some of the most freshest and authentic sushi around. I was stationed in Japan for a little while and this place ranks as close to Japanese sushi as you can get. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself is clean with a chill ambiance. You won’t regret the experience.

I went there with a friend who likes sushi but I don’t like sushi. I read they had other items on the menu that weren’t sushi, which they did have. My friend said that the sushi was pretty good but I was disappointed with the cooked food. The shrimp tempura seemed to have a doughy substance between the shrimp and the outside crispy tempura. I had the hibachi shrimp and beef with vegetables. The beef was tough and overcooked. The entire dish tasted like it was cooked in a pot that had burned food residue in it. Maybe it’s a Japanese efficiency thing but I found there continuous prodding to clean the dishes off the table to be rather annoying. It’s not like they were busy either and wanted to make room for new customers quickly.

This sushi place was fantastic and the atmosphere was very comfortable. I took my girlfriend there for her first time and she loved it. The food is always fresh and delicious. We got some recommendations from our server, Niaaaaa, which was the grilled calamari and it was outstanding. Her service was wonderful and the food was excellent. We will come here again!
