Nice big open atmosphere connected to the Centenary church building. Has a quiet library-like setting. I would think it would/could be a good place to conduct small meetings. Probably holds fifty people or so.

This coffee shop is attached to a church and has a peaceful and layed back atmosphere. The people were very friendly and the drinks were great. The food menu also looked top notch. The glassware and mugs were much appreciated. I hung out here until my short walk to the train station.

This cafe is a hidden gem. The food is fantastic, the staff is incredibly kind and attentive, the environment is calming and enjoyable, and the coffee is out of this world!!! Definitely going to make this a regular stop when I come to St. Louis. And to top it off, they use all their profits to support their community! Can they get any better? Honestly I would give it 200 stars if I could. Wonderful place. As well as that, they are incredibly affordable!

This was my first visit to the Anchor Room. As a coffee “nut” I found the Salted Caramel Latte to be amazing. The flavors were sharp and crisp. The Breakfast Burritos, sausage and bacon, had the flavor of we’ll made homemade burritos, with quality sausage and bacon cooked perfectly with a wonderful salsa that is just the right amount of spices for a breakfast, or even for dipping chips. There is an outstanding buttery to the preparation of the eggs and the tortillas. The Prices are more than. Far more than just a grab and go coffee shop.

The iced mocha was delicious! Our sandwiches were great too. They were very nice and my kids enjoyed the toys/play area while we finished our food.

Been here a few times, usually get a coffee or a more fancy drink and have tried their Cuban panini and their chicken panini. Both worth checking out. Plus they do an open mic night here and sometimes play music and have occasional movie nights.

We were looking for coffee and suddenly came across this place. It’s a coffee house within/ adjacent to a church. It was completely empty when we were there. The service was extremely slow, however, the last was nice. We sat for a while to drink the coffee. Honestly the coffee was bad! I ordered a cup of mocha. Its just a chocolate/ coffee flavoured milk. There was no kick, or any flavour, aroma attached to it. The coffee was very basic. I don’t know why the place got such a high rating!

Awesome little space downtown. Great food and coffee, the owners are super nice, and the space is super unique. I came here to do some work projects, great atmosphere. Love that they do fundraisers too. Will come back.
