I honestly wouldn’t give it a complete star if I could. The meat has no smoke flavor at all. The fine chopped is dry and chewy and very salty. The cole slaw taste like chopped cabbage with a knock off country’s bbq sauce. The pickles don’t even taste good. The baked beans taste like Walmart beans. If anyone thinks this is good bbq, then you don’t know what good bbq is. The sauce has no flavor other than a lot of vinegar. The Brunswick stew taste like canned stew with little to no meat.

I tried this BBQ for the first time and will be going back in the NEAR future. The food portions are large and you will get VERY full. The bite BBQ sandwich is GREAT. It did not need sauce to make up for the taste.

Johnny is my go to for bbq. Hes been there forever and knows how to cook. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and its just an old school atmosphere. Their hours have changed to Monday-Wednesday 11 to 6 and Thursday-Saturday 11 to 7 which is posted at the restaurant but not on the website or Google. I always enjoy the bite-sized with stew.
