O–M–double G!!! I must place SUNSET GRILL on the HIDDEN GEM list. From ‘tizers, toast, to tips…the experience was fantastic! The appetizers: SEARED TUNA, FRIED OYSTERS, and SHRIMP TRIO – all exceptional! The entrees: POUND OF SHRIMP, FISH & CHIPS and FRIED SEAFOOD PLATTER was abundant and well prepared! Our service was helpful and well-paced. Can’t wait to return.

Came in on a whim wanting to find a new dinner spot. We had the steamed shrimp, tres tacos, and some fries. When I tell you everything was cooked to perfection, hot, and fresh….it was like I cooked for myself at home. I started thinking about everything else on the menu and how many times I’m going to have to come back to try it all!

I am allergic to shellfish….but “man o man” the fish( 3 pcs Black Sea bass) n chips is exquisite not greasy….the homemade beer batter on the fish is perfecto…and it’s beautifully plated with an IPA ON TAP(my new fav AleWorks to top was satisfying. I really enjoy my time there. It’s worth every dollar … . Let me not forget the “ live acoustic band” nice and smooth and funky!

I stopped by Sunset Grill for the first time during my lunch break and had a great time! This place is a hidden gem in every way. The food is excellent and Cathy and Carolyn made it feel like home by talking to me and sharing the story of the restaurant. Cathy has put so much work into Sunset Grill and it definitely has a family feel to it. Looking forward to making it a regular lunch spot!

Contrary to what the web page states for their hours, we arrived at 505pm and they just opened. We sat at the bar, but didn’t get and order taken until 530. We were not in a rush so we didn’t mind.

Husband and I shared the Fried Seafood Platter which was absolutely delicious. The seafood was hot and fresh. The service was very personable and I believe it to be family run. We absolutely enjoyed our selves and Ms. Kathy was a delight.

Had fried oysters for an appetizer and the best I’ve ever tasted..fried. The crab cakes was another menu item my friend had and was real good! The tres tacos (pictured)was blackened sea bass, shrimp, and scallops…oh my goodness was this ever sooo tasty!
