Apparently the blonde with glasses thinks it’s ok to make fun of customers & talk trash about customers. Right in front of them. I’m sorry that I have health issues & can’t have certain things. Thanks for making me feel worse about it. The server we had, young man with glasses, was great! Helpful & friendly. It’s the rest of the staff that is lacking.

Marlins has always been a fantastic place to eat. Today was absolutely a nightmare. Took 15 minutes to even be acknowledged. While I was standing there waiting to be noticed one of the servers went to the kitchen and began flailing her arms around cursing real loud and was angry over something. She then got into a short altercation with the other server. The older gentleman in front of me waited 15 minutes for the girls to acknowledge him before one finally asked him what he needed. He only wanted a cinnamon roll. 15 minutes for that. I finally got seated next to a group of men who were sitting in their booth complaining about how the server hasn’t come to fill their coffee or deliver their food. They had been there an hour according to one guy. Turns out the server forgot to turn in their order. After 30 minutes my food finally arrived. Biscuits and gravy were cold, the eggs and hash browns also cold. I got one refill on coffee and was ignored after that. Regardless of you are short staffed, you still have a job to do and do it professionally. These servers need to be retrained. It will be a while before I come back.

Delicious food and lovely wait staff. Though it was a bit slower, it was a comfortable meal. Breakfast all day and good variety of options. They used to do a challenge burger but sadly it is a thing of the past.

Had the mushroom swiss burger and tater tots. Would have gave 5 stars except the burger was kinda bland. The wait staff ran non stop. My server was Amanda. She was awesome. all the servers deserve a bonus for how hard they work. No standing around here just go go go!

My service was good. My veggies were cool, but that was ok. I ordered the smothered chicken, it had really good flavor but it seemed small and for the price I think maybe it should be either another piece or a larger piece. Of course they could also reduce the price as another option. I also ordered apple pie Ala mode, it came with the ice cream in a separate cup. But that didn’t bug me either just was surprised by it. The pie was very good.

Excellent service from staff. Slow food but no biggie if you’re not in a hurry. Several fresh pies to choose from. I even grabbed a couple of sarsaparillas from the connected convenience store to have with my meal. Family diner atmosphere with great food.

I’ve been a fan of Marlins for years but this time my breakfast fell short of their typical awesome breakfast. The bacon tasted like it had been reheated several times, the hash browns were not cooked thoroughly, and the amount of hash browns was half of what was usually typical. I’ll go ago but hopefully they get it better soon .
