We were guests at the previous location on several occasions. Food was decent, but it was not up to the price point. Service was standard for this time. Not proficient in the knowledge of the menu was the biggest factor. This place is noisy. Mnot quite Black Sheep noisy, but enough that I would not consider it again at typical busy times.

The atmosphere is great and staff was super friendly. Unfortunately we weren’t thrilled with our dinner choices. We’ve heard so many great things about Dev’s but for us it didn’t live up to what we have heard from others. Maybe our tastebuds were just off tonight. We’ll have to stop by and try again.

FELT MOST UNWELCOMED…We live in Niantic. Our friends being in our town (a party of five) called us to join them for dinner. My husband and I came at 7 pm and asked to join our friend’s table. (Half of the restaurant was empty). They refuse to do anything to let us join our company. No chairs, no additional table, no change of tables. We asked for anything and got NOTHING. It was my birthday. I let them know about that and the fact that we live in Niantic asking, “Is there any way for Birthday girl to join their friends at the table?” They seem to not care AT ALL! The best they could do was sit us at the table behind our friends (really????!). Later on, the owner shared that she was ready to kick us out of the restaurant because we were challenging them on the matter. I am very upset that in such a small and hospitable town where we live, we have a business owner treated us almost in an insulting way.

My experience the first time I dined in alone and the server did not come over for at least five -six minutes, and it was very slow, apparently there was a failure to communicate and they thought the other server was taking care of me. Today I ordered a Caesar salad to go, but they don’t carry to go utensils. I had to go next-door and get some from the black sheep.

We are very unhappy with the place. We experienced first hand discrimination. The owner said directly that she didn’t like us and wasn’t going to accommodate any of our needs. We felt unwelcome and the attitude of the owner was unacceptable and very disrespectful.

Have been wanting to eat here but haven’t been able to get a table. Finally we were able to tonight but we called ahead and there were tables open. Asked for a bigger table due to a wheelchair. No problem we were told. Came in the front, handicap accessible. Was sat right away but the man was trying to sit us at a table that wouldn’t fit a wheelchair. We told him we just called about this. So lack of communication between staff. He had to ask before seating us. We finally got to the table. Got drinks. I ordered Chicken Palermo and my boyfriend got NY Strip. We asked for the meat to be cut because we have trouble cutting meat due to disabilities. My boyfriend even showed her his disabled hands and she had asked if he wanted a different meal then because they didn’t want to cut the meat. What ! Now this has never happened before at any restaurant but we were told that they wouldn’t cut the meat for us to accommodate us. I said that’s a first a restaurant not helping out when needed. She said she’d bring a knife and I could cut it. I said I also have difficulties due to my disabilities. I was so disappointed. I said fine ill try. Our meals came and my boyfriends meal was actually cut into strips so we were happyish that they attempted. Our meals though were totally delish and it made the night more enjoyable . The waitress was attentive and came by to see how we liked our meals and she had the chef attempt to cut the meat. We appreciated the effort. As we were leaving she opened the door and said hope we come back. Nice evening. Felt like the waitress try to redeem herself . Just disappointed.
