We have heard rave reviews about this restaurant from multiple people. We decided to try it and we’re highly disappointed. We ordered steak bowls and almost every piece of steak was inedible. They were just big chunks of gristle. To top things off, the food was rather bland. This was very surprising since we have dined at the original restaurant on Grape Rd. and loved their food. Express needs to prepare their food along those lines.

Cravings for Authentic Mexican food? This place is close to it, ’bout as close you can get. Torta bread could have been fresher, it was falling apart and lacked flavor/so bland. It’s my go to spot for tamales. They are huge for the price! , moist and meat filling to maize ratio is fair, just wish the maize itself was seasoned. Steak burrito same (ratio steak : rice: veggies good) some places overload the tortilla with the rice, beans & veggies and just a scant of meat thrown into the burrito, not at this spot. Their salsa(they put it on the food, no side salsa cups included) and my own salt and pepper made the $44 bill edible. No napkins , You must ask for them. The Star at Puerto Vallarta is the burrito bowl, but again, Use your own seasonings.

I brought 2 burrito bowls and I was extremely satisfied with my purchase. They give you a good amount of food in you bowl and the service was also great. Most definitely recommend this place!!

I normally order through DoorDash, but lately I’ve been going through the drive thru. The service and food has always been fantastic, and my order is always made fresh and accurate. The Taco Salad and Chimichanga with shredded chicken are my go-to favorites, but honestly, everything on their menu is great. 10/10.

I used to eat here quite a bit the quality has gotten terrible. My corn tortillas for my tacos were not warmed they did not provide salsa or anything else they list as available. The taco salad was also bad the meat was cold on all items. Then insult to injury I get charged 4 dollars for a large horchata they filled with ice giving you about 3 drinks from it. I would not suggest this place anymore.

Without exception, the best salsa anywhere near me. I’ve had a lot of different salsa. Every brand and many different restaurants. This place is the best by far. There other food is also good. But I’m crazy for salsa.
