Delicious! Tasty tacos and shrimp cocktail. Definitely want to try their huevos rancheros next time! Lots of sauce and salsa options too.

Finally got a chance to try Vaquero’s in Wautaga. This is authentic Cali style Mexican cuisine. Food is delicious. Portions are large. Cost is affordable. Everything I tried so far has been good. Limited seating inside. Plenty of parking. Breakfast selection looks good also. Definitely worth trying this place if you have not already.

Our go-to spot for So-cal/SD style Mexican food. We’ve tired multiple Mexican restaurants around Fort Worth, however, this is as close as it gets. We do substitute/change a few things to make it as accurate as our favorite Cali spot. It’s a 40 minute drive for us, but always worth it. Love the free chips and salsa, and green hot sauce. We always get the Cali burrito, Carne asada fries and rolled tacos.

Visited this new restaurant for dinner. We got two #5’s which was a cheese enchilada, crispy beef taco with rice and beans. My daughter got the California burrito. They served salsa and chips with the meal.

This is truly Southern California style. The hot carrots are amazing! The rolled tacos are out of the world! I ordered my potato rolled tacos with guacamole only and was still super impressed. We’ve had everything from chilaquiles to burritos and have been very impressed. The hot sauce is nice and hot. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough! Don’t miss out!

This place is truly amazing. I am not lying when I say that the food is exactly like San Diego food. The ultimate test is the California burrito and it passed in EVERY way. So much so, that I had to ask where exactly from California they were from. I was amazed and shocked that they come from the same town I grew up in and graduated high school from. Chula Vista, California. If anyone is missing Cali food, come to this place without a doubt.

The vaquero torta was good in size, I got full off of half of it. Did have extra sour cream and guacamole since hubs asked for it on the side with his asada fries. I’d suggest layering the cheese in between the fries because he did end up with a dry layer at the bottom. I’m willing to come back and try other things on the menu.

Normally the food is really good. I’ve ordered from here a ton but tonight I decided to try the quesadilla supreme. The tortilla was soggy. I’m not sure why it wasn’t crispy like a quesadilla should be. Like I said normally good but not tonight.
