One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in the Des Moines area. They had a good range of salsa with different spice levels and the meat in both the burrito and tacos was suuuper juicy. We even saved some for leftovers so we could enjoy again later. Will for sure be back!

It was incredibly loud in here, I couldn’t hear across the table. Tacos were fine, large menu. Staff was pleasant. Ordered the flan and it was curdled, and the fried ice cream was not a fried ice cream, just ice cream with cinnamon chips to dip. Don’t put those things on the menu like that if you cannot do them. At least staff immediately took it off the bill, I didn’t even have to ask. Overall I would try the food again, just skip the desserts.

Still has a very Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Chips are cooked fresh, salsa has great flavor. Food was served hot and quickly. Wait staff came to check in often and provided great service. Staff spoke as we exited restaurant. The food is consistently flavorful and delicious. Clean restaurant, great atmosphere. We will definitely be back again!

We stop in here at least once a month. We’ve always sat at the bar as that’s our preference. The bartender is always the same, just wish I could remember his name. Very friendly guy and seems to personally know everyone sitting at the bar. His drinks are delicious and have never disappointed. The food is good, maybe not the best Mexican food in town, but always good. Highly recommend if you’re a bar sitter, you’ll totally enjoy it.

My wife and I are from Texas. We were in the area on business so I checked out the reviews and stopped in. The wait staff was very friendly, inviting and prompt. The chips and salsa were excellent. The tea was fresh brewed and refreshing. We ordered steak fajitas. The food was presented well, the refried beans were excellent, tortillas appeared to be homemade (but did not eat) . However much like all other fajitas I have ordered in the Midwest it’s not really authentic Tex-Mex fajitas. The quality of the food was good and somewhat tasty but it is presented as “stir fry” meaning little slivers maybe 2 to 3 ounces of meat and an enormous amount of onions and bell peppers. You could add sesame seeds and soy sauce and definitely have Panda Express. Authentic Tex-Mex fajitas are made with skirt steak cooked over a flame (medium) sliced, on a plate, not mixed up with a pound of onions. The veggies are on the side. I gave it a 4 because of the excellent service, friendly staff, cleanliness and prompt service…… just with the fajitas were better.
