Genius Khan has always been one of my favorite Mongolian places, I hardly ever get disappointed when I come to any of their locations. I came to la brea mall location, all employees were extremely polite and fast, generous with noodles. Food was cooked well it was my first time getting the bowl along with rice and the soup actually shocked me it was not bad at all.

My favorite go to. Use to be. They will occasionally rotate sides. They added these dry red chillis. Everyone started coughing and almost choking because of the aroma. It also affected a few guests at the food court. I like spice but the way they pre-add the spice is plenty. I couldn’t even eat my noodles because of how they cook and mix everyone else’s noodles for those people that wanted a few red chilis in their noodles, no way! Will call the manager to have this fixed. These chiles should be hidden and asked for upon request. I tossed my noodles. I was so sad.

The staff here not only mislead my mother and father in law but also mistreated them by saying it was ok to put their broccoli on the side instead of on top of the bowl that was already overflowing. The staff then refused to add the broccoli into the already cooking food. Yes I understand if it was on the side on a napkin then it cannot be added however, the staff ignored their requests and shooed them off until their broccoli-less food was done cooking. If you would like to talk to rude staff and feel mistreated and ignored then come here and throw your money at them. We will not be eating here again

The cooks were talking and laughing loud I asked and said I have a question and one of them went ugh. I was waiting 5 minutes watching them talk. They grabbed my plate with an attitude and swung it dropping the noodles on my hand and all over the tray . The guy on the line who didn’t do anything wrong apologized for those cooks and added more noodles while I had to clean my own try having to dump it in the trash over the counter.

Been coming here for a long time and never had any issues. I like to come during the week rather weekends because it’s just quieter, I don’t have to worry about parking in the structure and there are plenty of tables inside the food court.

I just love how you can get your own mountain of food. Decent selection of thinly sliced frozen meat, good onions and broccoli. I would have liked my food spicier. It would be nice if they had their own blend of spicy sauce but I know it’s just a food court and I shouldn’t expect it to be perfect. $10 for a big box of food, enough to share with a friend. The noodles are bland, but they’re just cheap wholesale noodles. Good deal for the price.
