After finishing our dinner at Dolly Olives for the first time, my partner and I realized that some of our dishes didn’t match what was described on the menu. As an example, the potato cavatelli with pork ragu sauce was not cavatelli at all. We also ordered the burrata and heirloom tomatoes but the tomatoes just seemed like regular grape tomatoes. See pictures attached. The food still tasted good but we were disappointed that the restaurant would try to pass off different ingredients without informing us of the substitutions when we ordered.

Very few restaurants serve meatballs that I like. This place is one of them. It tasted fresh and delicious. I also ordered the potato cavatelli with pork ragú, it was a little bit salty for me but it was pretty good.

What a pleasant surprise! After a slow start (probably just busy in the kitchen at the beginning of dinner rush), Dolly Olive delivered a succession of absolutely hitting dishes! Some of the consensus favorites were the carrots, beets, and octopus. Also super classy move to offer a little free Prosecco and the carrots after our drinks and order were a little delayed. Overall our party of four left feeling like this was a great meal and a pretty strong value as well.

One of my favorite dining experiences I have had in a long time! Definitely make a reservation. It is not a big place, but it is absolutely beautiful. Awesome for a warm and intimate date night! We ordered the fennel crusted steak for 2 and we HIGHLY recommend it! It is 16 oz of perfectly cooked and tender, pre-sliced ribeye. Compared to what you pay for steak out and about now. $55 for enough for both of us was an incredible value, not to mention that it was one of the better steaks we have had at a restaurant recently. The service was stellar and they even gave us some bubly and a dessert since we were celebrating our engagement and anniversary! We will definitely be back next time we are in town!
