Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta’s lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. The dining room takes you to traditional Japanese garden pavilions that were often used for ceremonies and rituals while overscale pendants made from shoji paper create the look of elongated, abstracted paper lanterns. Design language that is a continuation of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s imaginative and innovative culinary offerings celebrates nature and is integrated through the use of different wood tones

We tried many dishes and most were exceptional (see photos). The beef tenderloin was the only thing that was average. Overall, Thai place still gets two thumbs up! I would have given five stars but service was a bit hap hazard…the servers continuously brought by items we didn’t order, or accidental duplicate items (no complaints there).

Decided to take my girlfriend here for a few appetizers before our movie starts at the theater in Phillips plaza. First thing I couldn’t help but notice is that this restaurant is also a hotel, if your interested in staying the night book ahead. We had a reservation at 5pm and was sat right away. The host politely asked me to remove my cap before I could enter the restaurant, keep in mind they do have a dress code. I mainly came for sushi but they do offer very various exquisite à la Cart entrees. I will say i fell there prices do not match what I feel is worth the cost because of my experiences in other Japanese sushi restaurants. My girl ordered a cali roll that was worth 20$ when I feel imitation crab meat and vegetables should cost less definitely when it’s a 6 piece roll. As for me I decided to try out there tacos and salmon avocado roll for my sushi, I will say that the tacos were very petite and I feel they could of included more for a 15$ steak taco. I must admit the tacos are tasty and delightful to eat really wish they came in twos but if you welling to pay the price I suggest getting two of each. Service was on point in the beginning but it did take some time for me to receive my check when I was ready. I did not take advantage of the drink menu but they do have a lot to offer. Will be back to try more for dinner next time was very interested in the octopus hot dish.

My husband and I enjoyed our date night at Nobu. We ordered the King Crab tempura, Yellowtail Jalapeno, Black Cod with Miso, Waygu, Roasted Cauliflower, Baked Alaska, Vanilla Miso Tart, and we tried a variety of sushi pieces and cocktails. Overall we loved the food and drinks. The staff were present and super attentive to us during the meal. They kept circling to refill my sparkling water and hubby’s still. They removed plates and dishes quickly in between meals. We never waited on food or drinks to arrive at our table. The staff did a great job of pacing the arrival of each dish. We will likely return to try more items on the menu! It was so nice to experience a nice meal with my hubby away from the kids for the evening. I highly recommend for a date night, anniversary dinner, or birthday celebration!

I finally had my first Nobu experience last night to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived until we left, we received friendly and attentive service.

Nobu is a family style restaurant so it’s best to get a few things off the menu then share it with the table. I found all the sushi to be kind of bland. I think the yellow tail roll was my favorite. I would recommend the shrimp tempura and lobster tempura. The drinks weren’t strong but they were good. I don’t think I would revisit this location unless one of my friends really wanted to go. If you haven’t been I definitely recommend you visiting for the experience.

The food at Nobu doesn’t disappoint, quality, taste, everything you want in your traditional Nobu dishes plus some new. Service is terrible! I don’t think I have eaten at a worst Nobu and I have been to Mexico City, Malibu, NY, Miami and Atlanta is by far the worst service I have ever experienced. We had to beg our server to get us a new bottle of sparkling water, repeatedly ask for more wine, cocktails etc. Not the best place for a business dinner as I learned. Would not go back.

First drink made me sick. The baked crab was artificial crab. Slow service. One piece of broccoli with mushrooms. Sensitive to mushrooms. Spicy marg was good. Not sure why they reached out here and not via email. For reviews to be in the 3s it’s obvious service isn’t important.

Visited for our daughter’s birthday and couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. Our server made several clutch recommendations and confirmed with the chef every time that it would trigger an allergic reaction. We started with the spicy edamame which was so yummy and nice to have to snack in between courses. Next up was the yellowtail jalapeño sashimi, crispy rice with spicy tuna, several rolls, salmon belly sashimi with a wasabi salsa and as a hot dish scallops with stir fried veggies. Yes – you read all of that correctly – we were stuffed! Every dish is worth ordering – the freshest ingredients and amazing flavor. The scallops surprised us all being much better than anticipated. The bar service was also notable with drinks being perfectly crafted. Make reservations in advance and plan to wear stretchy clothing

I was so excited when Nobu Atlanta opened. I have not been to any of their other locations, but I could not resist the hype that it garnered . I was able to check this spot out this past Saturday for dinner. I arrived at this restaurant right when they opened. We weee a party of 4, and surprisingly were able to be seated! When you try and make reservations online they are never available. I would suggest arriving when they open and hope for the best.

Joined a friend to celebrate her birthday. Prime ducked off location. Valet parking is available. Otherwise, there are nearby parking lots. Friendly professional hostesses that sat us promptly. Our initial server was Malik, and he was quite thorough. He explained everything and suggested many items. I was disappointed at the fact that the same grease is used to fry everything as that’s not safe for those with food allergies so I was unable to order some items but my food was good and the bday girl enjoyed hers too. At some point, we realized no one had been back over, and apparently, the server changed to a female named Genesis. She was kind but not very attentive. Luckily, many staff members touched the table so they were able to communicate our needs. Very beautiful ambiance
