Wag’s is definitely a dive bar, situated in a basement downtown in Frederick. I ordered a double cheeseburger, it was fresh and juicy with the cheese beautifully melted on! The fries weren’t my favorite, but they weren’t horrible either. Tons of beer specials as well, $1 happy hour!

I went to this bar/restaurant around 2pm on a Wed. Just a couple people picking up orders and one family seated. The server/bartender helped me immediately, she was very friendly and prepared the plate herself. One of the best gyros I’ve had, the tzatziki sauce was fresh and really tasty, with fries, pickle, and a cup of feta on the side.

They close unannounced on night that they are slow. The owner is sarcastic and not even apologetic for closing early when they feel like it. Shows their class. I’ll guess I’ll just spend my money else where lol.

Wags is my favorite restaurant in Frederick. I love the ambiance and staff. The waitresses/bartenders are so nice, and funny. They can be busy at times but they take care of you. I frequent here whenever I get a craving for a Wags burger. Can’t beat the prices here either. I tell everyone to hit this spot!
