Very much a local staple. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and professional. We were able to enjoy some hamburgers and they were very much yum. I had a BBQ hickory burger and it was amazing. The parking here is great with cool rocks surrounding it. I am looking forward to going back again soon.

I enjoyed a hot buttered lobster roll. My hubby had fish and chips. Both meals were very good. Our waitress was great! There were a lot of menu choices. I will definitely go back. I would describe the food and atmosphere as pub and bar food.

The Best dinner we have had so far, according my own experience! Yes, the location is not on the water, but Sooo delicious, fresh and big portions plates! The prices were great too! Our waiters was very pleasant and professional and we were served within 20 min, that was awesome too! The five golden stars too The Spot Cafe!! We will be back just because I want to order stuffed cod and lobster bisque soup again!!!

This is a local spot that everyone around Groton knows. If you are not from the area and want some good food reasonably priced stop by here. Also if you are getting drinks they tend to have a heavy hand which is always a good thing. Trust me and try this place. You won’t be disappointed.

Nice bar , between a dive and a chain . Our server had some nice tats and a tight body . She was in her 40s and most 20 yr Olds have nothing on her . Oh. And was good at her job . Wings were good, blue cheez burger was good and clamps chowder was excellent. They make a good drink. Half full of locals which means it’s not over priced .

The place is hit or miss. We’ve had great burgers from them and then terrible ones. I just had a rib eye steak dinner delivered. The steak was good, nice size and cooked perfectly. There are 2 sides that go with them, but a few of the sides you actually had to pay additional amount for. I went ahead and ordered the onion rings cause they are usually great there. They put them under the steak… An absolute pile of mush! I would recommend they put them in a separate container. Did receive the order exactly when I was told it would be delivered.

Father’s Day trip to The Spot with my stepfather. He got 3 choices on where he wanted to eat and he picked Option 3! The Spot! The waitress was on top of her game and moved around that place like it was her own. Amazing staff!

Not for Gluten Free unless you want chicken Cesar salad with a bit too much dressing. No GF buns, pizza, or fries. The waitress also said the burgers are not GF even without the buns. Perhaps it’s where they are cooked but could be the burgers themselves. Nothing mentioned on the menu so it takes longer to order and an annoying (for both of us) game of 20 questions.
