Everything was amazing. We went for brunch and we got this delicious/beautiful drink along with breakfast burger and the BLT with fried green tomatoes and sunny side egg on top. Yes, you read that right,.. fried green tomato used in the BLT. Possibly the best BLT I’ve ever had. The atmosphere and service were top notch and plenty of seating outside with great views of Alys beach. Parking is available in the back of building. It’s also right next to their amphitheater so we enjoyed live music also. Highly recommend it!

Last minute decision to try The Citizen again. We were here right after they first opened and were not impressed, but tonight we had a very good experience. They were busy, but we found 2 seats at the bar immediately. The bar staff was friendly and very helpful. We look forward to returning soon.

This was our first time here at The Citizen and I was blown away. My wife and I sat at the raw bar and had probably the best seat in the house. I definitely would recommend sitting there if you like to check out dishes before deciding what to eat. We ended up getting a half dozen east coast oysters, Calabrian shrimp, splitting the charred avocado salad and the catch of the day (red snapper). Everything was excellent, including the drinks. Samantha had our courses come out in perfect timing and at no point were we waiting for anything or did we feel rushed to get on with our meal. This will easily be one of our new go-to spots when we come down on vacation.

Good food, drinks are good – it’s good. I wouldn’t say outstanding. Whipped feta was amazing, wedge salad was great. Service was good, not enough waitstaff but that’s the situation in a lot of places. If you don’t have a reservation you can sit outside (if tables are available).

Food is ALWAYS incredible here. Our server Brittany is a rock star. She is hands down one of the best servers I’ve had at any restaurant around the world. She was super attentive, funny, and full of personality. Even if the food wasn’t as amazing as it was, I would come back just for the service.

This is our new favorite “special occasion” restaurant in the 30a area. The service is impeccable. And there’s nothing like having a server that describes each dish and gives recommendations in such detail. Harrison has the same passion for food that we do, and it’s much appreciated having a server that knows and cares about food as much as we do! The oysters were some of the best we have had in the area, the small plates were huge bursts of flavor, the cocktails were outstanding, the wine list is great. Pretty much everything we love in a modern, upscale restaurant, this place has! We have also been here for lunch and you cannot beat the hummus set up! It’s truly one of the must eat bites of food in the 30a area!
