It’s been a minute since we went for our anniversary in March , but I wanted to make sure I wrote a review and shared pics! The atmosphere was so classy, and our waitress was amazing. The food was delicious from beginning to end. We came just for the bone marrow, but were so tickled that everything went so far above our expectations. This was perfect for our anniversary. It’s a bit pricey, but we thought it was well worth it and perfect for a special occasion.

Among the delightful selection of dishes, the succulent duck steals the show, with its complex and satisfying flavor profile. The short ribs, a close second, are a culinary triumph with their melt-in-your-mouth texture and unforgettable taste. A surprising highlight is the Chicken croquette, a dish that delivers a pleasantly unexpected burst of flavor. However, the true standout dessert is the fig cake – a heavenly concoction that defies all expectations with its exquisite taste and texture.

Food was good. Service was excellent. We went on a Tuesday night to celebrate our anniversary. We had the marrow, which was great on the bread. Also had the pimento cheese croquettes (they came out teally fast). They were good. The sauce served with them was really good (and spicy). My wife had the house made pasta with shrimp, which was excellent. I had the duck breast. It was ok. It reminded me of pork tenderloin. The side of kale, sweet potatoes, apples, and onions with it was “meh.” Sweet potatoes were undercooked and a little hard. Overall, pretty good. We had two teas, and our bill before tip was $112, so it’s a little pricey. We parked about a half block away on the street, so it was pretty close.

Great experience at Clay Pigeon. The staff from start to finish did a fantastic job of showcasing their hospitality. The food offered elevated standard options they didn’t leave much to be desired. I’d recommend you check this place out when you want a great meal with an authentic hospitality experience.

I waited a few weeks to write this review to temper my disappointment. I REALLY wanted to like this restaurant but was just underwhelmed from start to finish. Our party of 3 made an early reservation on a Saturday evening to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The restaurant was NOT yet busy; however, we were led to what turned out to be the worst table in the restaurant. It was by a pole between the bar area and the kitchen and our chairs continued to be bumped by servers and patrons our entire meal. (Obviously this table should be removed). Additionally, I understand the current trend of refurbishing old vintage spaces and exposed brick…. But for the price point, I expected a lot more ambience. The food was good but unremarkable- there are lots of Fort Worth restaurants that are much much better. We’ll take our business elsewhere.

We eat here almost every Friday. The whole experience is top notch. Service, food, and atmosphere are all some of the best you will find in the Fort Worth area.

Amazing experience, highly recommend!!! The ambiance in the restaurant is lively and inviting, perfect for a date night or a night out with friends or co-workers. The service was exceptional. We tried a variety of items on the menu and enjoyed everything. The sou chef made dinner recommendations and we were grateful for them, we had bone marrow, ricotta tarte, wedge and burrata salads to start. For dinner we had the fresh catch, grilled duck, pork chop and the chef recommended cut which was the meat along the spine, fantastic!

Quite a lovely evening with friends at a new place. Super laid back atmosphere but with a noticeably intense love and passion for food. Cocktails and wine were on point with a great selection by the mixologist on staff. If you like the regular fair of wine and spirits they do them well.

I really enjoyed my experience here, and will definitely be back. The menu and the flavors they present are memorably unique, and just “different” enough to get you interested. I may have had the best New York Strip I’ve ever had here… and I definitely had my mind blown by that date cake. Seriously… never would have thought I’d be touting date cake. Service is very friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is great. Wine? Of course, great selection!
