Had lunch around 12:30. No wait as tables were still open. I ordered the Ramen and it was delicious. Nice rich flavor. Dining area was clean and larger than I expected. Service was great. Our server helped us with the menu especially with the items we were not familiar with. Looking forward to trying other items on their menu.

Love coming to hakata, even when the original owners were still here. I’m happy that the current owners are keeping up with the food quality and flavors. I forgot to take pics of the appetizers, but we got gyoza and Japanese fried chicken. For our meals my girl got two pieces of tuna roll, rainbow roll, yellowtail roll. I got the shoyu ramen. For dessert we got mango and green tea ice cream. We were happy with our food. Definitely can’t wait to come back

The menu is simple but the food is great. The service was okay. While we were there a customer walked out because he was waiting on water. His food came out before the wait staff could get his water to him and the place was only half full. If you can deal with spotty service, the food is well worth it.

Went here because I saw it had the highest star rating in the local area. Wasn’t really impressed with the amount of food for the cost. Other sushi places in the local area give much larger portions and similar prices. The rice had an wood flavor to it. Not sure if that was intentional or not but it threw off the flavor of the sashimi.

I ordered sushi but when it came, it felt as if it was already sitting out for a bit, it wasn’t cold at all. The seaweed was unchewable, and the taste just felt off, like it was a day old. My father ordered some sort of dish in a bowl, and it was clear that it was microwaved. The employees seemed like they didn’t care much about anything, and the restaurant itself felt very dark and empty. Not sure if I’ll be back again. 🙁

By far the best sushi in town…. that was written in 2019 and I’m updating now in 2023 with the new ownership. The customer service is back. Tonight everyone was very attentive, and when we asked for more orange garnish for our 2.5 year old… they didnt bring us a garnish they made a piece of art, an orange made into a beautiful kitty which was an absolute delight. The extra step to make something special will stay with us. Fish is still the freshest in town.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. But, the food was a major disappointment. First, the salad was served wet, which watered down the mayonnaise dressing that was tasteless anyway. Second, the star of the show “Ahi Tuna tower” was too sweet. Whatever glaze they use. They need to take it off. The star is the Ahi Tuna.
