Joseph is an amazing waiter! He is very friendly and his service is phenomenal! He helped me embarrass my husband with the birthday song for his 50 birthday ! He is very friendly and on top of his game! Loved the food the cooks are amazing! Very busy considering other sushi spots! That lets you know it’s the spot!

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for years. It was our go to. Always great service and great quality food. We went this week and we were very disappointed. The prices increased, which I understood. Prices are going up everywhere, but when our food was brought to our table, we were shocked. The rolls looked like play food.They were so teeny tiny, bite size. If you’re going to increase the price at least offer the same quality of food. It’s poor business practice when you charge more, but offer less. I won’t be going back until this changes. Another thing I noticed was that the restaurant looks like it’s being run down and service took a long time. Not very many people there either. I gave a 2 star because it still tastes good, but considering all else I couldn’t give it more.

We’re told that we had to wait 5 minutes for a table. The 5 minutes turned into 40 minutes to be seated. We had to wait over an hour to receive our food ask for tea waitress end up giving us a Coke instead of a tea. I love sushi. We got 4 different. They all taste the same. I was disappointed.

I’ve been craving good sushi for the past couple months and I tried Mikado before and it was eh. I got it yesterday and it was SO GOOD. I ordered 4 rolls and ranked best to good (none of them were bad): Play Boy Roll, Ocean Tiger Roll, Santa Maria Roll, Fried Spicy Philadelphia.

I’ve eaten at three local sushi restaurants recently, and the food /service at Mikado’s was the best. One night, I joined a group for a birthday dinner and Mikado’s did have a waiting line. The place was packed. Luckily, we got in quick and shared a whole variety of rolls. All yummy. Second time, I went with a group of 10 for lunch and tried something more direct (bento) – sesame chicken, miso soup, and avocado roll. Again, there was a waiting line but we had a reservation so we got in quick. The miso was hot the way I like it and actually had flavor and body to it, very tasty, not watery like some other places. The iced tea tasted freshly brewed. The sesame chicken was delicious (my fave) and the roll was fresh along with the salad. Service by Adrian was impeccible – fast and clean. Wished i could have stayed for dessert, but I was in a hurry to return to the office. All in all, a very good meal, good quality, fun. The restaurant is busy, close-quarters, and packed, but if you like the “place to be” vibe of a happening eatery, a little chaotic, then this is a good match.
