Went to waffle house around 4 am and was told they were “closed”. The woman at the counter started yelling and cursing us out for no reason. The man came to the door and said they would be closed for an hour because they were gonna have the sidewalk sprayed and he was cleaning the grill. He smelled like weed and eyes were red. As we walked away the woman continued to curse and yell for no reason. Very disappointed in this customer service. I also saw the employees fixing food for themselves.

I was looking for a breakfast sandwich during late afternoon on a Sun. Not one to go to breakfast establishments but I’ve visited here twice in the past couple months. I just want to commend the owner for his staff. They are always kind, sweet, and professional each visit. The service they provide creates a warm atmosphere, it’s personally nostalgic. Definitely will frequent this location more, the breakfast sandwich is better quality and tastier than all the nearby options.

My second time to try. Went on sunday and i understood that it was a busy day. No one acknowledge customers. Waited for 20mins and still no one even say something while all customers waiting. We left. I tried today. They are not busy and they just looked at people coming in at the door. No one said anything to acknowledge they will be with you. Waited for 15mins. The server went to clean the table and did not say anything. She clean another table and still did not say a word. The others were talking. We left without non of those servers said anything before we left. There is no other customer that was waiting. So, we decided to leave and i will not give a try at all at this location. We drove to Lavista, Tucker and the Waffle house was packed and they acknowledge you right away and in a minute let us get seated and served us.

I wasn’t gonna leave a review. Thought this should be said . . Just want to give a shout out to my sorry, problematic server Billie. Let me start by stating, waffle house had a full staff. When I came into waffle house, no one greeted me. They appeared to have an issue with another customer order. So I brushed it off. I waited about 15mins to be served by Billie. Before she served me, She was clearly causing problems with the other staff. Being rude and disrespectful but she was messing up on her end and taking it out on them. After I gave her my order, I watched her call out the wrong order 5 times !! . She pretended as if she understood the first time I corrected her. But she didn’t. I kept trying to tell her. Stop. Listen to what I am saying. Idk what this lady problem were. So, about 30 mins or so pass. Another server asked me what I was waiting for because nothing was on the grill. I told her my food. So Billie, literally has my food sitting in to go. Without my knowledge. Getting cold. Meanwhile, she’s making smart comments to the staff. Being super disrespectful. I really have to applaud the other staff for not engaging in her immature behavior. I really wanted to tip everyone else in the waffle house but felt since she was already causing so many problems that would add more fuel to the fire. With that being said. I would avoid her at all cost. ♀️ Next time I come back to this waffle house I hope she is not there.

Usually I have a good experience but today the new staff woman over charged me significantly! My order should’ve been less than $10 like usual bc i had 2 cheese grits, eggs, and large coffee. She charged me close to $15 and argued that she was correct. No manager was in sight and I couldn’t get anyone on the phone! That’s bad service!
