I’ll give them 2 stars because Hannah was great in terms of HER customer service. The food was not so great. I’ll be honest- maybe I shouldn’t have opted for Dominican food at a diner but both our plates which consisted of white rice, beans, pernil (pork shoulder) and chicken felt and tasted like it was microwaved which is why I don’t get why it took almost 40 minutes to get our food with very few people seated at the diner. I also noticed that my glass cup had a crack in it but Hannah quickly replaced that for me which I was appreciative for but most likely not going to return.

I had the most delightful experience at Englewood Diner! This family-friendly restaurant offers a fantastic variety of menu items. During my visit, we opted for breakfast, indulging in mouthwatering chocolate chip waffles and pancakes, along with perfectly scrambled and fried eggs. The presentation of the dishes was impeccable. The fruit bowl was a burst of flavors, and the coffee was simply outstanding. What impressed me the most was the reasonable pricing across the menu, making it a great value for the delicious meal we enjoyed. The staff at Englewood Diner is incredibly kind and patient, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. I can’t wait to visit again soon!

I had a craving for a pancake last Saturday so we went to this diner. Proper American pancakes with mixed fruits with whipped cream and fruit sauce was very good. My husband’s salad tasted fresh and nice as well. Will definitely go back there with rest of the family.

This my third time coming here I don’t come often but I haven’t been disappointed not once. The service is great and gives you a homey feeling even the type of diner it is you get the same feeling. Breakfast was good had Caramel Pancakes and Turkey Bacon Omelette w/ Homefries & Toast. Will return n not be so long in between with visitation.

The service was lovely. Really great people. Parking was easy in a lot right next to the diner. The interior is not fancy but it’s clean enough. However the food was not very good tasting, to us. My eggplant parm was in a brownish sauce that tasted more like barbeque than tomato sauce. The waffle was overly sweet. Take this with a grain of salt. I’m probably the toughest rater on diners, because in this area there are so many great ones. This one is fine but it’s not my favorite by far unfortunately.

Terrible place. Food was bad. And the waitress was extremely rude. Did not offer any help when the order was wrong. Had asked for an italian omelette, the sausage was not italian, just a regular sausage link. No mushrooms and the spinach was not even added. Just cheese and tomatoes. The homefries were bland too. Not to mention they forgot the whole wheat toast, and when asked about it, the waitress rolled her eyes and had a busgirl give us the toast instead. Not once did the waitress tried to take care of the situation. Do not recommend. Terrible experience.

Very clean environment. Food was very disappointing and not good. Service was terrible. It seemed that the bus boy didn’t bus all tables and was confused when we had empty cups to pick up. Asked the lemon… never got it. Sorry but very disappointed in this place.

Do yourself a favor and do not come here. Service is very slow. No one was checking in on our table. Serval other tables complaining about the wait. Another table didn’t get a waiter until after being seated for 40 mins. Insufficient staffing. Waited an hour to receive food. Was about to walk out and food finally came out. No flavor. Turn around.
