This was the most special sushi experience my family ever had. A cousin of ours knows the chef, and he pulled out ALL the stops and off the menu dishes. They were delicious and stunning. The sashimi quality is always top notch.

Order took long to prepare. There was only one other customer in the dining room. Fried wontons were disgusting. They were stale and chewy. Like they had been sitting over night and just given to me. Sushi was good but I’ve had better. Avocado salad was strange. Not worth it. Very disappointed overall.

Tapei Tokyo is a hidden gem and one of our go-tos for dining in or take out! I really enjoy the sushi here – more than places in the surrounding area. I ordered Singapore noodles, and lettuce wrap. I received lettuce wrap and fried rice. I called and tried to get it corrected and give the restaurant a chance, a mistake could happen and event hough I was starving, I tried to see if I could wait again for my dinner. However, the gentleman who answered the phone didn’t seem to care, he just said yup I gave you fried rice as if it is his choice what should and should not eat and he suggested I order and pay again and maybe I’ll get what I want. It is the most annoying and insulting treatment I received from any business. I told him now I’ll never order from this restaurant again, I have throw this food away, and I get dinner from somewhere else. He did not seem to care, he said ok, so I hung up the phone.
