Last night, after ordering and paying for our food, my husband, who is a volunteer fireman, received notice his dept was called out to assist at a fire in Mercer. I told the girl at the window we had to go, be back later for dinner and we immediately left for the call. After a little over 2 hours we returned and yes, they had saved our order, now cold. I asked if they could microwave for us. Once the young lady told the ladies cooking our situation they ALL insisted on making us a fresh order of food. With great thanks to Shirley’s for caring for our volunteer firemen. This simple gesture of kindness meant a lot to a hungry, thirsty fireman!! God Bless!!

I usually get ice cream when we stop here, but I have gotten burgers and fries as well. The food, ice cream, and prices are always pretty good! I would call ahead if you want food because they are VERY busy Almost every time we stop. Way Better food and Ice Cream then the fast food chains.
