Leavenworth needs a good Italian restaurant, and Luigi’s fits the bill. Nice variety of entres, wine and appetizers. Hard to believe this used to be a bowling alley. Very friendly and effective staff.

Stopped in for an early dinner with my husband while visiting the area and we were very pleased with the food and service. I’m not a big pasta lover but my husband is and Luigi’s had meal options that were perfect for both of us. Food and atmosphere were excellent, pricing was reasonable and service top notch. Definitely would go back when in the area again.

The wait staff was spread to thin. We were just a table for 2 and it seemed like we waited a long time for our entree after we finished the salad. Portions are huge! Food was amazing.

This is a real hidden gem located in Leavenworth, Kansas! Normally, there are the common fast food locations in the main strip, but make a quick turn and you find this place! The food is delicious, but caution that they utilize a lot of garlic and onion in their pasta sauce. The serving sizes are very hearty, and the service is extremely quick. They try to maximize table space as much as possible, which resulted in a longer than usual wait.

We are new to Leavenworth and wanted to find a good Italian restaurant. Mozzarella sticks were fantastic! Fettuccine Alfredo was good, but chicken had no flavor. The lemon drop martini was very strong. Amore pasta was decent. It would have been nice to have my water refilled at least once. I will be looking for a better Italian restaurant.

1st time at Luigi’s. Our server was Maleka. Great server. Very sweet and full of personality!! Had a good laugh with her. The food was amazing. The Tiramisu was just ok, but good none the less. I had a Pineapple Cider that was BOMB! Will definitely be back.

Luigi’s/Mario’s advertises their pizza as New York style hand tossed. It’s definitely not that. It’s good, but if you are looking for a new York slice, you won’t find it here. These aren’t large thin slices with pillowy thick crusts. They resemble frozen pizza more than New York pizza to be honest. Again, the pizza is fine for what it is, the misleading advertising is the problem.

Our food was absolutely amazing. Everything from the appetizer, the bread, our entrees and the atmosphere couldn’t have been better. We love how modern the restaurant is. It’s also impressively cleaned and well spaced. It still feels like an Italian restaurant but in a refined but not pretentious way. We came for lunch and my kiddo got a very generous kids portion of spaghetti and I got the capers salad and the piccata. Adding chicken was totally worth it. It all tasted so good. I know it sounds silly, but you can tell a lot about a place by the quality of fresh tomatoes, these were perfect and not grainy like so many restaurants have due to storing and prepping them improperly. This is a new favorite.

I am highly impressed with Luigi’s. Tonight I ordered a carry out order and they accidentally forgot my double order of calamari. I called the restaurant and explained the situation and they were more than happy to get our second order in the fryer right away. They told me it would take about 10-15min and I expected that I would just go pick it up; which was not a problem at all, but the employee I spoke to (I now wish I had asked for their name to praise their customer service) informed me that they would be delivering it. Upon delivery we were surprised to find that not only did they deliver the extra order of calamari, but they provided another portion of bread and a slice of cake as well. There are very few businesses where you will experience this level of customer service, and I will be recommending Luigi’s to all my friends. Thank you guys for everything!
