In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas.

We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. I went through the Drive Thru and ordered a Rancho Plate during the evening, and it tasted good. I would not say that this is the best BBQ I have had. However, it’s decent and the portioned amount is adequate.

WELCOME TO BOERNE!!!—-First day open and is already crowded, that’s right, everybody knows the expectations. I took 2 dz. complementary tacos to my favorite friends and that crispy bacon with bean and cheese just disappeared in a blink of a bite.

We went for an early dinner and it was almost empty. I got a rancher plate with sausage, brisket, fries, coleslaw, and mac and cheese. All of it was delicious, I got sweet tea with my meal and like always it was great tea. I didn’t get this here but the chicken samdwhich and tenders is so tasty. This Bill Millers is a brand new one and its the newest one I’ve been in. The staff was nice and got out order quickly. The bathrooms were nice and clean. I recommend coming here it was tasty.

There is a reason why the dining room is empty @ this Bill Miller’s. I ordered a lb of brisket and a 1/2 chicken. The slowest service I have ever had and a degree of unprofessionalism from the manager on duty 05/12/2023 @ 4:00 pm that I haven’t experienced at a Bill Miller’s before. My brisket and chicken both were dry. Won’t be returning – too many other options.

Ordered via Door Dash, which was fine. Ordered Rancher plates (2meats) & the brisket was omitted?? It was dang sure on the receipt though. BBQ shop forgets the brisket, really?

Hit or miss like everything in San Antonio/ Boerne. My job was nice enough to order us Thanksgiving plates from here but they were TRASH. $12 ea plate for small portions, food was cold and tasted like it was from a can. And to top it all off they didn’t have the order ready, over $150 order and they forgot about it. Wouldn’t recommend.
