We just stumbled on Daily Kitchen KC, and we’re glad we did! The lady behind the counter was extremely polite and helpful. After we ordered our food (brisket sandwich and Cobb salad), she even brought us a complementary zucchini pancake. The food was perfect. Couldn’t have been better. Overall a great place to eat!

The food was excellent and fresh, made with quality ingredients. It was well worth it to order the meal combos to enjoy the flavored lemonade, which we cannot recommend highly enough (particularly the lavender flavor), as well as the chickpea salad. The lady who ran the kitchen was super kind and made us feel very welcome, talking to us and giving us recommendations for how to enjoy our time in KC.

Fun place to grab breakfast inside city Market. I ordered a breakfast scramble, consisted of breakfast potatoes, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, tomato slices, small feta like cheese cubes, served over a bed of fresh spinach. Hubby order a breakfast sandwich, had egg, sausage patty. Lettuce, tomato cheese, served on a roll. Delicious!

While there wasn’t much to do at the Market City, I tried to make the best of it and try a local restaurant called Daily Kitchen KC. I ordered a breakfast plate that brought an omellette, toast, and spinach salad. It was something I needed after all the heavy food I ate earlier in the week. The nice lady that attended me must’ve been the owner since she knew everything about the recipes, she cooked and worked as the cashier, and made the drinks herself. She was so kind to show me a bag of lavender that she buys from Oregon to make her homemade Lemonade… delicious! The lemonade is to die for. They had a variety of lemonade flavors available like peach lemonade, vanilla lemonade, and strawberry lemonade. I love how the owner attended me and the food was fresh and scrumptious. The only problem was that it sits in a dead market.

I work for a non-profit called Missouri River Relief, and we were in Kansas City for a large-scale Missouri River cleanup out of Riverfront Park! We worked with Daily Kitchen KC for a couple catered meals to feed our volunteer crew who help us implement this program. The food was DELICIOUS! We had Macaroni and Cheese, pulled pork, meat loaf (with a delicious sauce), and grilled veggies for the first, and our other meal consisted of BBQ chicken, sweet potatoes, veggies, and dinner rolls. Everything was so hearty and our crew really enjoyed the meals. The mac and cheese was my personal favorite! I failed to take photos of the awesome meals for this review, as we dug in immediately. It was that good.

Love this little place. I have celiacs and can safely eat here. Owner changes gloves between orders. All condiments are GF so no worries here. Food cooked fresh in front of you. Big serving sizes for the price.
