It’s National Pizza day so I HAD to try it!! So glad I did!! Ordered a pizza to go and a beer while I waited. The beer… let me tell you how COLD this thing was. The mug came out of an ICE CHEST and was icy icy icy. The beer was super cold too. It stayed plenty cold while I enjoyed it. Pizza was ready and it was time to go! Hubby’s lucky it made it home without a slice missing. Really good. Crust was crisp and chewy. Great flavor. Toppings were plentiful and nothing overpowered each flavor! Just awesome. We will absolutely be back!!!

The garlic knots were something sweet dreams are made of, for real. I’m smiling as I type this and reminisce. They had a fresh-baked donut type of base. I don’t know how to describe and do them justice. Their pizza, wings and service were also excellent. I highly recommend.

I was at the original Alberto’s in South Daytona on their opening day about 30 years ago. I fell in love with their stromboli which has a great taste, is perfectly crispy on the outside, and comes with an amazing meat sauce. I moved to the Jacksonville area a long time ago and never found another that was near as good so I would stop by whenever I passed by. That location is long gone and the Edgewood location was generally never in my path so I am happy that this new location is close to 95 so I can stop on my way through the area.

It wasn’t the best but yet wasn’t the worst. When we first walked in we were greeted by somewhat friendly workers. We ordered a small pizza to go. It took 20ish minutes. While sitting there waiting a lady in all black was just talking to two older customers at the bar while the lady in scrubs ran around and actually worked. The lady talking didn’t seem like she really wanted to be there. I get it who really wants to be at work but at least kind of act like you enjoy your job. It was strange to see to cooks out of the back with tanks on but I get it it’s hot back there but I’m still not sure how I felt about it. As for the food….well it was okay. The cheese didn’t have much of a taste. Not much sauce kinda dryish. The pepperoni was great though. I’d give the whole experience a 7.5 out of 10.

Food Ok, but the large meat lovers pizza was paper thin in the middle. The AC must have been having trouble for inside temperature was close to the 93 degree temp outside. I rated the food and service 4 stars. The hot temp rated one

alberto’s has my heart used to go here so much as a kid in edgewater, it’s still just as good (maybe even better??). we got a cheese pizza, mozzarella sticks, and baked ziti w a side salad (not pictured). pizza was amazing as always, and the mozzarella sticks were fried perfectly with a great marinara sauce. baked ziti was great too, so good we forgot to get a picture. price is excellent for the quality of the food, my favorite pizza place in the area 😀

I have been to both locations, and overall, food quality is excellent. I have had issues in the past with delivery service, but today, I was able to get my delivery very quickly. I am definitely impressed today.
