Lives the vibe of this place. They extended the seating outside and it is out in the open and you can see the buzz of the street. The food was good, but they don’t serve their cheese wheel after 6pm. 4 out of the 8 of us wanted it and understood that it takes more time as there is a wait but they wouldn’t budge. It didn’t state this on the menu or anywhere as that would have changed our mind. But I never had to ask for more water or bread and the pasta is all homemade. Great place if you have a group as we did. The hubby got the seafood pasta!! We also got the calamari and garlic knots.

The place is in pretty zone, in little Italy. Inside the building is so pretty and you can eat outside. The food it’s okey, it was very cloying the gnocchi pasta and the carbonara was sooo salty, we even return it. The waiter was a little distracted but it was okey. I think there is better restaurants in the zone, I would say this restaurant it’s more for an Instagram photo and that’s it.

We had a great dinner at Allegro. It’s a beautiful place (we sat on the patio, under the lemons) and our food was very good. We also really appreciated the service. All our servers, bartenders, and food runners were awesome! Very friendly and fun to talk to. If you’re in Little Italy – GO!

We tried Allegro for happy hour on a Wednesday. When we arrived we we’re immediately seated and they had really indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. We ordered a beer, a glass of wine, calamari, and the fig and prosciutto crostini. The server was very attentive, and the food came out quickly. I’m giving in three stars because the calamari was the absolute worst I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was completely flavorless and dry/ over cooked. The fig and prosciutto crostini on the other hand was delicious. I really like the ambience so I think we will give this place another shot and try it for dinner sometime.

Great atmosphere and good cocktails! But if you’re looking for authentic Italian food that transports you back to Italy this is most certainly not the place. I ordered the carbonara and it tasted like buttered noodles with Parmesan, guanciale was under cooked, and to finish the dish they sprinkled some pepper that tasted like it was low quality from a table shaker. My friend ordered the cacio e Pepe which tasted like an Alfredo pasta. If the prices were lower I wouldn’t be so harsh. But each pasta dish is almost $30! That’s absolutely ridiculous.

What an incredible experience!!! I don’t even have the words for how wonderful this place was and the service!! We happened to find this place by just walking by, the food looked good! I had no idea the service would be so off the charts incredible! Christy was amazing!!!! My wine was never empty, she even helped me decide on which plate, and she pampered us through the whole meal! We truly felt like we were VIP’s while just having dinner! This is our first time but I can’t wait to come back! I ate so much I felt sick but don’t regret a single item! Best $270 we ever spent!!! If you go here ask for Christy! She’s the best!

The bar tender and host were so attentive and kind and went above and beyond last night (Halloween). We visited just to have deserts. I had the lemon cello cake he had the tiramasu and both were delicious (obviously I had to try his order too). Come check it out this place offers a laid back atmosphere with tons of great options. You will definitely be taken care of.

There was no wait Friday night and the ambience was nice. The staff and our sever were friendly as well! But the food was average nothing really stood out to us flavor wise. We ordered calamari, Parmesan truffle fries, pesto pasta(the shrimp on my pasta could have been cooked more and added some flavor), and seared scallops with jumbo shrimp.
