Found a little gem in Allen, Tx. I was not expecting to; the food was delicious. We grew up in Dallas, and this was the food we grew up with. The chef knows how to cook great Tex Mex. Check them out. I had the Mario ( Brisket Tacos) so good. I had fun talking with the owner Miguel about old restaurants in the DFW area.

We chose this place from seeing all the 5-star reviews. They are all true! Food, service, atmosphere.. all great. The service was especially what made our visit a great experience as they were so accommodating. The food was nothing less than A-mazing. Look at the chimichanga (posted), it’s massive! The fish tacos I ordered were packed with nothing but goodness. Yes, will come back. Easily now are new favorite sit-down Tex-mex restaurant.

We went to this restaurant based on reviews and we were so disappointed. The fajitas were the worst ever, ordered the Mixed Grill for two for $42 and the food was so over seasoned and it was a very small portion of meat. Looks like allot of food when they bring out because fajitas are on a big bed of squash. We will not return.

Our waitress, I believe her name was Gabriela was awesome. Very attentive and explained the menu. We went on Father’s Day and although they were busy, we still felt well taken care of. The food was amazing and full of flavor.

Chips are not my favorite, but the way they char-grill their asada is fire. Super friendly, never had a cocktail but I am sure they are good. Not sure there’s a better spot for Mexican in Allen.

Delicious, friendly service, and fresh to order. I highly recommend the top shelf margarita. It comes in a tall glass and sets the mood. The enchiladas were exactly what you’d want chicken, beef, or cheese for the variety of sauces. If you want to mix it up try the mole enchiladas. As always you can’t go wrong with a sizzling fajita plate.

Excellent food and atmosphere – my family really enjoyed our visit to Anasofia’s in Allen. If you’re looking to support local businesses, make sure you try this great restaurant – you’ll be glad you did. My son got the quesadillas – loved them. Both my daughter and I got the enchiladas – mine is the one with the sour cream chicken and the beef and my daughter’s is the two chicken enchiladas covered in queso! My wife got the fajitas – and the onions alone on that plate were worth it – we love onions and those were the best! He recommended that we try the chicken covered in mushrooms – sounded awesome so we saved that for our next visit! All in all, a great dining establishment – also got to meet the owner – great guy! Fantastic food and great staff! Food is fresh and well seasoned and the margaritas are on point. We usually get the mango, strawberry and swirl margaritas and rotate. Fajitas and pescado Veracruz were amazing, as well as brisket tacos.
