A friend and I met at Giggly for some after work drinks and to catch up. The bar was relatively easy to find and we were there shortly after they opened so it wasn’t very busy. There is a bar area (Giggly) and a dining area (Aria), and we ended up being seated in the dining area, which for just drinks I think was a little confusing, but I didn’t see a bartender at the bar. Our waitress was at our table shortly after we sat down and got us some bread and butter and our drinks.

This was my first visit and I’m in love! Our server Nikki was wonderful, and so friendly! The place feels like you’re at a friends house. There are cookbooks everywhere, and they were fun to look through while waiting for our meal. I ordered two mocktails, The Hibby and the Silk Road (pictured), both amazing. I got the Stake and Fries for my entree. One of the best stakes I’ve had in a long time! Nikki was attentive, and was there before we had to ask for her. She is also very knowledgeable and made our dinner feel like we were at her place for a dinner party! She gave us these super cute maps of things to do in Milwaukee (Pictured)hand drawn by a local artist because she thought we’d enjoy them. That was such a nice touch. I will definitely be going back many times!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. We were immediately taken to our table at our scheduled reservation time. We had bone marrow and baked goat cheese for an appetizer. Both were perfectly prepared. For dinner we had the striped sea bass and duck. We were pleased with both. The sea bass and duck were moist and the flavor of the fish and sides were delicious.
