Ordered general tsao and sweet and sour chicken. They forgot the sauce, so just chicken. Very overpriced for serving size and quality. I could get better tasting food and fried rice for half of the price elsewhere. Tried sushi last time, over 1 yr ago. Definitely not fresh. There are much better places.

This place is a sleeper… the food is incredible! I started with some white tuna sashimi… THICK cut, very fresh and also fresh wasabi and pickled ginger. My fiancé had the wonton soup which was also tasty. For entrees we got the chicken lo mein and beef Szechuan. Both were incredible… can’t decide which we liked better.

Really good, flavorful food. Pork lo Mein had huge juicy pieces of pork in it. Crab Rangoons a little small, but delicious. A little pricier than a lot of places I’ve been, but you’re paying for quality. Only beef was you should really get two egg rolls for $3. $3 for one egg roll is a little ludicrous.

I am not sure if it’s the host or the entire place that’s shady. I ordered Pad thai once and asked to make it spicy, and it wasn’t spicy at all. I asked for some red hot chili, and the server repeatedly said they did not have them. But I said you usually cook spicy dishes with them, which you have in your menu, but she kept saying no. The owner finally came out and gave me some. Ordered shrimp egg rolls, and it didn’t have any shrimp in it. Went in there another time to eat in, and the place was empty – which I wasn’t surprised – but the host said we couldn’t eat in at all because she was the only one there. That was the last time I went to that place. But then I had to re- visit – which I said was a mistake for them ordering food from there – because a couple of co-workers of mine wanted sushi from there, but when I picked it up, it cost $40 total – $37 for 12 pieces of sushi and $3 for tiny shrimp egg rolls – probably with no shrimp in it – and later found out that if I had said the word “COMBO,” it would’ve only cost $24 instead of$37 for the 12 pieces of sushi. My co-worker and I tried to ask for a refund and was put on hold for almost a half hour only to be told the manager would call back but never did. It is so sad for this business to trick customers this way and overcharge people for their meh tasting food. Make it a “COMBO” everyone, but don’t be surprised if you order there and feel like you got ripped off.

I must admit the food was delicious, Shrimps were large but for the size/portion is way too small. I’ll take smaller shrimp for more broccoli I recommend you use the square containers instead of round containers . two shrimp and broccoli cost us $34.00 The small containers are typically given when customers purchase small/lunch but you serve that size only for all your dinner wich are too small /lunch size for the $17.00 and the containers you serve the rice in are too small..usually always have too much rice lol. It appears that the small cups are actually smaller then the traditional white boxes used for rice. Unsure why there is only one size $17 shrimp broccoli and $3.00 soups….no option for larger size if your portions are small and cost $17.. Feels like I paid dinner prices for lunch portions. That was my only concern, hence the 3 rating.

I think I’ve reviewed these guys before but man, my family LOVES Asian City in Middletown. The sushi is my personal go to, house tempura is great! E we love the pad thai, but today we ordered Mongolian beef and it was outstanding! Kids love orange chicken. Crab rangoons on the small side but the flavor is huge, wouldn’t change a thing about them! Spring rolls are great too. I don’t think we’ve ordered anything subpar from this place. You definitely want to consider this if you’re looking for a great Chinese or sushi spot in Middletown.

Extremely over priced. I’ve always looked over that fact because the food is so good but today is the final straw. I tried to order fried chicken with friend rice and they wanted to charge me an extra dollar because I don’t want them in the same container. Who wants soggy fried chicken? Why tf would you put the friend chicken on top of the rice anyway? By the time you get it home the chicken is seemingly baked because it’s soft and not crunchy. Every where is so money hungry these days it’s sad. Won’t be ordering anymore !

Actually just moved here from “down south“ where it was pretty hard to find good Asian food like when I lived back up north lol. Listened to the reviews with great hope & I’m NOT disappointed!
