Went for a pulled pork sandwich and baked beans. Well to say the least it was okay. They gave me on sauce which is pictured so I had to ask for another. Unfortunately you really need the min 3 for that sandwich. The pork was okay beans I had to spice up myself. The whole virtual order taker to me is a bit much because you still have to deal with a real person in store. What the reason is for that I have no idea. The atmosphere was decent and not to crowded with stuff. One thing I can say is that at least there is a bbq place in Oakland now. I do t live there but work there everyday. 3 stars because the lack of sauce they want to give. Other then that I can’t say to much else bad or good about it,but hey it’s my opinion I’d say still go check them out. The staff there was friendly at least.

Love life
If I could, I would give it no stars, leave if you are a brown customer do not go there. I was trying to get my money back into my hand and he literally throw it on the counter as if I wasn’t there and I’m trying to figure out. What did I do wrong? You can go and waste your money if you want to.

I came from Georgia to help a friend out. I wanted some barbecue, and she suggested baby Jack’s. I spent $32.00 and could not have been more disappointed than I was in this food. The brisket was nothing but fat,and the pulled pork was just ok . The sides left a lot to be desired, and the tea was soured. I will not recommend this place to anyone looking for barbecue.

The kiosk ordering was strange and awkward. Why would you pay someone to stay at home and take orders when you have another employee working behind the counter who is quite capable of taking the order? There were no one other customers there except me. If you are trying to keep up with rising costs, then eliminate an unnecessary position. Food was cold and small in portion in comparison to it being overpriced. I will not be back. There are too many other barbecue places that do not have the weird ordering environment and cold, meagerly portioned expensive food.

Enjoyed our stop at Baby Jack’s today. The trio was nice for trying the different meats (pork, chicken, brisket). The staff was helpful and friendly. We ate inside and since we were the only customers the dining room was very clean! I would definitely eat here again. Thanks for a peaceful lunch!
