I can’t wait to go back! Food made fresh to order, and they were so friendly! It’s takeout only, but there are plenty of tables and benches around downtown to enjoy the food while it’s hot!

First time we tried this restaurant. We will definitely be going back. The food was authentic. Received hot, the kebabs were exactly what we were looking for. The sides were wonderful. I got the rice pudding and it was fabulous. Finding Middle Eastern food in Lancaster has never been easy, so glad they opened downtown.

Out for a walk and stumbled on this little place accidentally around closing time… And the food was so good… The owner stayed late and chatted with us about his food and experiences. The schwarma sandwich was perfect… amazing especially with the pomegranate sauce. And I’m glad he convinced us on the rice pudding very unique and complex flavors which we loved… Will definitely be back and bring friends. (it’s a small takeout place with no seating) we took our food next door to the hooka lounge to eat and it was a quiet comfortable spot to chill and enjoy our amazing food. Lancaster secret spot but spread the word so this guy stays in business.

I got the lemon blended with milk and it was delicious. It’s a small place, no tables or anything inside but it was all made fresh right there.

Very mediocre food. Picked up the shawarma sandwich, shawarma platter and kebab platter. None of the food had any flavor in it. Extremely bland, tasteless and not worth the money. We have had better middle eastern street food. Asked for white sauce on the side and they said they don’t use it. When I said even the carts have it they said it’s not authentic food. However the authentic that I got from here was tasteless. Would not recommend.

Amazing to say the least. We are still fairly new to the area and I have been looking for months for an authentic middle eastern restaurant and came across Babylon. Food was amazing the lemon mint drink delicious, the mint fresh from the owners garden. We will be back for sure! Highly request!

The food was very good! I tried the chicken shawarma from the grill, and the onions, tomatoes, chicken, jajik, and pita were a great combination. I always love ethnic food, and the Iraqi-themed food is definitely something to try as it was unique and delicious! Mind you, it is not a sit-down restaurant, but the owner of the restaurant also owns Arabian Knight—the hookah lounge right next door—so we were able to take our food there to eat, and it was a pleasant atmosphere to share a meal and have conversation at!

Not sure what is better, the food or the kindness of the owners. Have been here multiple times and it does not disappoint. Well seasoned and flavorful with generous servings that last two or three meals. Some items take a little longer to prepare because they are fresh, so order ahead or be ready to wait a moment.

It was a little difficult to find tucked back in the corner inside the building. (Just follow the signs past Arabian Knights Hookah & Coffee Bar) But the food is worth it! Authentic delicious Iraqi food and Iraqi Chai. We got chicken shwarma sandwiches, and they were delicious! Iraqi tea is made fresh and is served piping hot. They have so many great options for kebabs, shwarma, dolma, baklava, and more! The descriptions on the menu help give an idea if you want to try it, and most of the items are made in-house. The owner and his wife are very friendly and will happily answer questions. They even gave us a tiny sample of a lamb kebab. Will definitely be recommending it to friends and will probably be back.

Delicious and authentic Middle eastern food with a few twists. The lentil soup is out of this world! Best shawarma I’ve had since I have been in the Middle East. And the staff is so friendly. Highly recommended trying this place!!
