So it’s our first time in davenport staying the night on our way to lake Michigan. Wanted something quick and easy so we decided pizza. I’m a big believer in trying new places and not just going to like a papa John’s. So we ordered from bad Boyz pizza. What a mistake and joke. Ordered a single topping large pizza at 6:06 for delivery. Was told it would take 1 hour and 15 minutes. That was fine because we were going to go swimming in the hotel pool. At 7:40 I called and asked about our pizza. I was told it just got thrown in the oven 1 minute ago and it would be another 30 minutes before it would show up. I said really 2 hours for a pizza can ya give us some bread sticks or a discount or something because this is nuts and our 5 year old is starving. Was put on hold for 5 minutes and he came back and said sorry it’ll be there in 30 minutes. 8:21 the pizza finally made its way to the hotel that’s less than a mile from them. What a great experience hotel wise anyways! If I were you I’d stay away from this place for delivery anyways. Maybe a 3 star rating on the actual pizza at best.

It seems like it doesn’t know if its a restaurant or a bar. There is only one table for larger groups. Most tables are high tops but some are lower. The atmosphere was family friendly and we had our 3 and 5 year olds. It was ok for us but if the kids were younger it may get trickier with seating. We were seated quickly and the bartender waited on our table and was great and very helpful with choosing drinks. As things got busier the bartenders were also trying to wait tables which wasn’t working so if we needed more drinks or to order our food we had to go stand and wait to order them from the bartenders. Not sure if that’s how it always is or was a staffing issue. We ordered 2 large pizzas and it took around 45 minutes to come out. The pizzas we’re just ok. I had higher hopes but it really wasn’t anything special unfortunately. I’m happy we tried it but I likely won’t be going back.

So my daughter decided to wait until the last minute and plan a surprise birthday party for her fiance. She called Wednesday to this restaurant which they indicated would work with us being in several tables. It was last minute for her planning so they did a great job. Our group had to have more than 20+ people show up. When I arrived with the three I brought, three tables were already occupied for our group. We took a fourth, fifth and six. They were great on keeping up all the beer/pop orders. We ordered four pizzas to start with. Basic ones – one pepperoni, one sausage, one vege and one meat lovers. Pepperoni disappeared really quick so we did end up getting another one of those. The service was great as they set it up where several waitresses were helping out so someone was coming by off and on to see if anyone needed more of anything. I believe this is tavern cut, but don’t quote me on the cut style names. I love all pizzas thing, original, pan, new york, chicago, detroit etc. This pizza was great as not soggie or dry and had plenty of toppings!!! If you are looking for a place to watch game and have pizza/drink, this is a great place!

We ate in. Food – very good. Service – I felt like we were ignored after it was discovered we weren’t ordering beer. Our order was taken after about 15 min. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time.

This pizza is to die for! The bottom was crispy just how I like it. Good amount of sauce. They cut it in a unique way and it just works! I thought it was cool and different. My husband and I just loved it. The ranch is the best too!

The middle of the pizza was okay, the rest was burned. The waiter brought out the wrong pizza and when told politely, became irritated. Was quite rude. Never smiled once. The walls are banged up, paint peeling, chair seats cracked. It looks pretty old for not being in the newer building very long. I won’t be returning.

We had a baby shower there & couldn’t have asked for better service. Our waitress was committed to making sure we had everything we needed all afternoon. The pizzas & beer were perfect. Amazing & would highly recommend it!
