Placed order online at 12:05 for 12:30pick then waited until 1pm still not ready. Lack of staffs is my guess. I would not come again.

Great neighborhood spot, nice owners and tasty food at a great price and solid portion sizes. Got the black bean chicken rice plate and it had lots of rice, veggies, and moist chicken-

Just a little hole in the wall place, but don’t let that fool you. It’s not anything fancy to look at and very basic.

Spent my whole lunch break trying to break a language barrier trying to order simple items pointing at a greasy and dusty menu. Then when I tried to pay the old dirty machine kept saying invalid pin and the lady at the front kept yelling “no money! No money!” I left like mam I have plenty money. Settled for a bagel next door.

I am shockingly surprised at how good the sushi is here. And I’ve been in search of good sushi for months. I’ve tried many at the recommendation of friends as well as some based on Yelp reviews. Each time I was disappointed because of the main ingredient: rice. The fish were fresh on most, but they all failed because the rice was “katai,” or hard. My husband found Beijing Tokyo while on a walk. He grabbed a menu because he said it reminded him of me being that I’m half Japanese and half Chinese. He’s such a jokester and we decided to give it a try. The prices are so reasonable, I felt I had nothing to lose. I always order the same thing when trying out new sushi restaurants: maguro, hama-negi, shiro-maguro, and ikura. It’s a good place to start and will reveal the freshness (or lack thereof) of the fish as well as how they season their roe and rice. When I took my first bite, I let out a big smile. The rice was cooked and seasoned perfectly! Finally. I liked it so much that I ordered a bunch for my mom for Mother’s Day. That was the real test. Would my 87 year old Japanese mother like it? She exclaimed, “Oishii!” Delicious! Don’t be put off by the name of the restaurant or some of its crazy concoction rolls. Stick to the basics and you won’t be disappointed. Everything was fresh and delicious and the prices are right at an average of $4 for two pieces of nigiri.

A small surprise that was probably the best Chinese food I’ve ever had: Singapore noodles, black mushrooms, and snow pea chicken. They were all amazing. I’ve read a few questionable reviews for this place but I tried it myself and they’re all wrong. I couldn’t be more satisfied or more stuffed!

ordered online and food was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes when I went to pick it up they said it would be another 15 minutes which became 30 minutes. The seaweed salad was frozen.
