A kosher meat deli which means there is no dairy at the restaurant. We love the matzo ball soup and the sandwiches. The service is usually good and the staff is friendly. I love their pastrami extra lean and their chicken Marsala is pretty good. They give you Cole Slaw and pickles and bread on the tables with your meal. The kids meals are a nice size and will make the kids happy.

For almost 50 years Ben’s Kosher Deli has been deliciously catering to the tastes of people that love good food. I always order the Stuffed Cabbage as it tastes just the way my grandmother made it. As a child I got to help roll the leaves up with toothpicks holding in the stuffing. She would add tomato soup and let me help by crumbling up ginger snap cookies. Ben’s version adds some golden raisins for added sweetness. YUM! Every table gets a tray of coleslaw and pickles. And we always opt for pastrami instead of corned beef, sliced thin. I prefer the Rachel which makes it a Rueben minus the swiss cheese. They make excellent Chicken Soup, Kreplach and Roasted Chicken. And don’t forget their Potato Pancakes! Double YUM!! They also do catering. If you haven’t tried Ben’s yet, there are several Long island Metropolitan locations. And there is one in Boca too. Let’s show Ronnie how much we love Ben’s, stop by, dine in or order out or cater a lunch for your staff. You won’t be disappointed!

Love, love, love their juicy brisket of beef & their corned beef. Come here every time just for that, especially the brisket with sautéed onions & Russian dressing. Super yummy! Also the split pea soup (no croutons please) and their fries which are well presented. Katz’s in Manhattan has nothing on Ben’s in Carle Place. Thumbs up all the way❣️

Ben’s has been around for years. The Pastrami I ordered was good, just a little dry, as was the rye bread it was served on. Liked the plate of Cole sale and pickes as which complimented this traditional meal. Wait staff was very nice.
