Had a food truck event at our college and decided to try their poke bowl. Was very disappointed in serving size considering the 17$ price tag with tip (felt forced to tip when using card as the girl is blatantly staring at you while you process payment). The rice isn’t even sushi rice it was basmati, it was served hot with cold tuna chunks which inevitably made the sushi itself warm (not a pleasant experience). The tuna itself was very tough to eat, and I love sushi. Very poor quality as there was quite a few pieces with inedible silver skin. Was very disappointed in the food truck, maybe store itself is better quality but would not get again.

Fresh ingredients, fast and tasty. I got the Waterman Bowl and added Banana. The ladies that were working were competent and kind. I can’t speak to anything else on their menu but the acai bowls are amazing!

Nice place with vibrant decorations. The poke bowl was $13 but it was a good amount of tasty food. The service was rapid. I loved the music they were playing (Disney). The only issue was that it was kind of hard to find the place.

I got this açaí bowl as part of an event at UF. I’m not a big açaí person in the slightest but i truthfully did really enjoy the açaí. This was being pumped out of a truck and was still good so i bet the restaurant is even better. The fruit was all fresh and cold and the berry mix itself was quite flavorful. I would never myself be here but compared to other açaí bowls i’ve had, this one was amazing! I have no clue the price or size of a normal bowl but if you’re looking for açaí, i’d recommend big island bowls based on this experience.

It was my time here. I’ve ordered the teriyaki poke bowl and it was delicious! But I wish that they served with Japanese rice instead of jasmine rice. The price was a little too high compared to Bento. Overall it was good!

The food is really good here, just wish they had a salmon option. The reason I’m shorting a star is because the last three times we’ve been here, the employees’ friends were blocking the door or the counter, being loud and obnoxious, using profanity, and distracting the staff from doing their jobs. Took about 10-15 minutes to make our order because her friends kept interrupting her. The last time we went, we were going to eat there, but the group of teens were making the atmosphere so uncomfortable, we took our order to go.

Prices were fair. My maui bowl was 10 and the poke bowl was around the same price. However the couch inside to sit and wait at was decently stained and dirty. I ended up sitting at their outside eating area. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and would go back

We stop at Big Island Bowls every time we are in Gainesville. I love their daily affirmation cards that you can read while you wait for your order to be ready. The salads are really big and my daughter and I love their bowls. Everything is always really fresh and I like that you can swap things out. The staff has alway been really friendly every time we have gone there. The inside is spacious and really cute and tropical, while they have a nice outside area to sit as well. Always a stop while we are in town.

The tuna was really good quality in the one bowl, but the rice was really hot which was kind of weird compared to all the other poke bowls I’ve had. The acai bowl tasted good but was mostly frozen in the middle making it harder to eat.

We have our favorite Poke restaurants around Florida & S Georgia. However, this will not be one. Not what I would really consider a Poke Bowl restaurant. There are only menus selections & not down the line selection for ingredients.
