Stopped in today for a late lunch. We were greeted quickly and seated in a nice spot. Our server was quick to get our drink order. Once that was out of the way, she returned to take the food order. The wife really enjoyed her Maple Apple Salad. My steak was cooked correctly, the shrimp skewers were good and the onion rings were quite tasty. Good food and good service!

A few months ago I ordered online for curbside pickup. Arrived, called, no one came to my car. I went in, was directed to pick up my food at the bar, quite an effort to get some attention, finally a lady practically threw the takeout bag on the bar, looked me straight in the eye, turned around and continued her conversation. She was so rude I thought, did she think I was an employee that she could scowl at? And does she treat her employees that way? The food in Springfield is good but I live in Nixa, this evening I thought I’d give it another try. I went in by myself for an early dinner, waited at the reception area to be seated for almost 10 minutes. That’s quite a long time to wait to be acknowledged. I left and enjoyed my evening elsewhere, at another locally owned restaurant and ordered additional takeout to bring home to family. Too many other really good options to be treated poorly.
