The main dishes were excellent flavor, not as spicy as I would have liked having ordered meduim spicy. The Naan was burned and served with no dipping sauce, so that was a disappointment. The chi was very good (comes unsweetened ), but I was never offered a refill. The staff was friendly and polite but didn’t really check on you to see if you wanted more chi, water, etc. I will definitely give them a second chance as the main dish was of excellent quality.

It was a good mom-pop indian food joint. I was rather craving some spices in Alaska.. which this place offered. They had good selection of veg and non vegetarians Menu items and they did a good job with the salmon korma. Good and recommend it.

Bombay South has the same excellent food as the location on Northern Lights Blvd. While the service is good, the location’s atmosphere is more suited to takeout than sit down dining.

North Indian food was ok. Dosa did not have salt. Chutney had no salt or spices. Sambhar had no spices either. It tasted like regular dal without spices.

We were looking for Dosa for our kids as we have been in Alaska and kids had not had a good meal. They served Dosa which was good and we order nan, paneer tikka masala which was very good. They offered me tea on the house, which was just perfect for the weather. Very nice service

During our late lunch at this Indian restaurant in Alaska, we encountered a few issues. This is not a South Indian Restaurant. Its same menu as their other Bombay Delux restaurant [better restaurant] but they added Dosa here. That’s all.

We’ve gotten take out from here several times. Sometimes it’s the most amazing food ever, and other times it’s mediocre at best. It’s too expensive to be so inconsistent. It’s disappointing because I want to eat here for the times we get amazing food, but I can’t justify the cost if we get a curry with a bunch of bones or tendons/low quality meat and/or if it just doesn’t taste as good.

This place was amazing! They had a small seating area, that you could choose your seating in. The waiters were very nice and always had a smile on their face. Not too long of a wait, and if there is, the food makes up for it. They have a variety of differnt food choices to look between. It came out hot and mostly at the same time so nobody was waiting. They also had homemade ice cream that was delicious. Overall a great place to go for lunch or dinner. You can take your time or come in and out quickly. Thank you staff!
