This place was charming, a bit warm, but so much fun. The citrus sweet tea was delicious! Our server was so sweet and very helpful. Our food was absolutely delicious. My family (2 adults 2 kids) shared a medium boil and it was way too much food! The leftovers were delicious! The hush puppies were also fantastic. I would eat here every day if I could!

There was a lot of confusion upon arrival as we didn’t realize there are two different restaurants with very similar names within 30 feet of each other. This restaurant is pretty much only seafood boils and is the door to the left.

this place is amazing we tried it out about a month ago for the first time and went back 2 weeks ago for my birthday. we get the amazing crab cheese fries and the boil with double crab, oysters, shrimp, potatoes, corn, and sausage. we always had a few leftovers. it’s buttery, seasoned well, and the parmesan is amazing makes the oysters just so much better. the only thing i have to say is we had to leave early on my birthday for these two inconsiderate women who were absolutely rude to the waitress and complained the whole time that all they had was seafood and didn’t have what they wanted bc she didn’t like fish. it was outlandish really so we got up and got our food to go. hate people are so stupid and rude nowadays but other than that my favorite place to eat in onslow county for sure!!!

Beautiful location. Lacking much effort for accuracy and satisfaction. For the most part the food came out cold. But they made it right and brought out hot stuff. Boil was pretty good. Clams were sandy but the rest was nice. Luckily they had a short wait to be seated and and good refills.

Wife and I went for lunch. We each had a low country boil and they were great. Our waitress was nice and kept our drinks full. Will definitely go back.

Boro Low Country Kitchen does not live up to the expectations one should associate with “low country” style cuisine – for anyone who’s ever had it done properly. The shrimp in the seafood boil combinations was tough (overcooked), tasteless – poor quality and NO traditional seasoning that this style should have. Corn on the cob was tough and tasteless. A fish sandwich was tasteless without the benefit of added sauce. Presentation of everything was crude and unappealing. Total disappointment and frankly, not worth the cost. I regret not speaking up about it, but had no confidence they could have delivered something better. We will not be back, and will advise others against it. I can only moderate this assessment by saying that maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen. From our experience, my conclusion is that we’re owed a refund for having wasted time, as well as money on this worthless food. The owners of this establishment should be ashamed that such tasteless, low quality food is being served there.

We had a large party stop in with our dog. They had a great covered outdoor spot for us to sit and eat by the water and the staff was fantastic taking care of us. Definitely will be back!

Stopped by for a weekday lunch to find the place completely empty. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive! Wanted to sit outside, but the umbrellas were not opened and table was lava hot, inside was air conditioned but still pretty warm. We ordered the steamed mussels, a fish sandwich and one of the boils. All was tasty, but spiced a bit different than what is typical at other seafood restaurants. I would visit again if in Swansboro, but not go out of my way.

The food was not seasoned at all or very little. Pretty tasteless. It also had excessive dough in the breading. We had fish tacos, scampi, fish and chips and chicken tenders. They were all unremarkable and had very little taste. We ordered broccoli for our child and it had some black spots. We asked to replace them and the new ones came the same.

We called ahead to have a drink and appetizer while we were placing our order, usually it is a 30 minute or so wait. There was no wait so we brought our pup and hung out in the back deck area. We had a bowl of water with ice cubes brought out for us a few Coke and Rum doubles the crab cheese fries (which omg, they were a cheese fry connoisseurs dream!) the calamari which came with octopusesses as well, which was an awesome surprise! Marinara was enjoyable as they also are affiliated with the Italian restaurant across the street and back west just a bit.
